So his Dad took him and we're all supposed to pretend it was a stranger and scour the earth for the scum-bag?

Child custody disputes are NOT kidnapping cases. Get over it.

The child's mother was murdered and Dearest Daddy is the suspected murderer. He has a history of domestic abuse......What are your thoughts now?

Uh, I don't think that was part of this story dude. Where did you get this from?

Texas is to far from heaven and too close to Mexico for me to care.

It is part of the story... KOB just doesn't have all the facts. Try Google sometime. I did one quick search and found this: http://www.newswest9.com/Global/story.asp...

It saddens me to know that you don't care that a child is in danger just because he's from Texas.

If you knew anything about "Amber Alerts" then you would know that they weren't created just because someone was probably twiddling their thumbs like you probably are. They are put in place for a reason. You really should know what you're talking about before you put your stupidity out there for everyone to see. Those alerts have saved people.

I live in Denver City Tx, and I tell you the little boy's mother is dead and that the boy's father is wanted for questioning about the murder. The little boy is in danger and we should all pray for his safety, and pray that justice be brought for the person who did murder his mother. This is not one of those subjects where race should matter, this one where good Christian morals, and values should be put in to place.

I can't believe that some of the comments that were put here. This amber alert is for a missing 3 year old who was taken by his father, yes his father. NO he didn't kidnap him, BUT he is the suspect in the murder of his mother, which is why they are on the outlook for the little boy. I am sure that the Denver City Police, and the Texas Troopers could put out an All Points Bullentin, on the dad, but they are more worried of the safe return of the little boy. As the story here in Lubbock reads, that there was alot of history of domestic violence in the family and if this father did indeed kill the mother, then he could also harm the little boy. No one cares that this man is hispanic, but being that the little boy was taken sometime Thursday from a news story i read on CNN, the father could be anywhere, and yes alot of hispanics run to Mexico, because Mexican officals will not allow a fugitve to be brought back to the states unless they get a promise that they will NOT be given the death penalty.. BUT who cares, as long as the little boy is found safe. Thats all that should matter.

White, black, green who cares. We are talking about an innocent, helpless child who might of even seen the murder of his mother.

I cannot believe the person from Deming NM who said that they did not care. Hope it does not happen to your family!

I agree with all of you ladies. Who cares what race anyone of is. We are talking a bout a small child taken by his murderer father, who killed little boys mom. The scumbag does need to be brought to justice, but little boy needs to be protected first.

The man murdered the mom and took the son, possibly to kill him or both of them...seems like the child's life could be in danger.
Perhaps you should know the facts before you pass judgment on the situation.

In child custody cases when one parent takes the child and runs, is called kidnapping. Know the law before you begin trashing it. This poor child can not take care of himself, and it is up to mature responsible adults to help if they can. Thankfully there are a few of us out there. Unfortunalty there is not a filter on sites like these w/ a filter for stupid, or immoral. I wonder how the previous posters can sleep at night knowing that they could care less if an innocent little boy dies at the hand of his father. Oh, but I guess it does not matter to them, because he is a Mexican, therefore not important. The New Mexico heat must of melted your brain, oh and by the way, if you dislike Mexicans, you are in the wrong state.

Lets look at the facts,,,, I to live in Denver City!!! This woman was murdered very savagely with a knife!! And she was badly beaten before she died!,There was a history of infidelity in the relationship, The man got mad and killed her then disappeared with their son,, He is from mexico and more then likely returned there! He has a history of domestic violence, the womans sister found her dead badly beaten around the privates, one breast cut off and stabbed to death, HERE in Denver City Texas, And YOU people argue about the man taking his own son??? And about race??? People it doesnt matter what color you are, there's a woman dead and a child missing, And the families wanting answers!! Yes it was his son, But it was also an aunts nephew,a grandson etc.... So screw this crap about race's and who's better only an idiot would become indignant over race issues when a life has been taken! Race??? hell we are all HUMAN !!!
