I love how everyone has to say that PJC is the best youth team in town.Do people really look and see what pjc is all about.I come to my kids games and all I see is coaches fighting on the sidelines, yelling and screaming at kids, the inhouse is falling apart and they have a guy who dosent have a kid in the program and is ruining the league.Ever since his kid was on the STACKED Cowboys for all those years and yes they were stacked,he could give a shit about anyone but his own kid and team.He has depleated the inhouse league and thats not what ts about. He dosent control any issues in pjc he thinks he is high and mighty and nobody likes him.All the coaches in middle weights have issues coached arguing, yelling at refs I can go on and on.You have refs answering text messages in the middle of a game, that is not safe for my kids.We brought that up to Mike Decker and he laughed and said its not true, all he is worried about is his free food he gets from the food stand.NOT PJC he needs to go and I already know about 25 people not coming back because the way he handles things. And its funny how all these coaches kids were on travel and now they cant even make the grades to play on the freahman teams and all your STARS on travel arent starting in high school ball.Is the board aware of any of these issue's or do they not care because all of there kids are on travel aswell??????

Concerned parent I must say I cant find anything you have complained about that is not true or has not been brought to the attention of the PJC board.

Fact is its a good old boy board, and they are all tied to each other. And yes they havent produced good prospects for the high schools in a long time.

As you know you have choices and my recommendation is to look into the other football programs in town, I've heard nothing but great things about the Wolverines and Prowlers, and there is the Saints.

Coaches fighting, Decker's friends, and or relatives have always had the stacked teams. Nothing is going to change. You have kids playing travel ball that have no business being on a travel team, but are there because of who their parent is, not on the boys ability.

The sad part is every year their numbers decrease more and more each year, soon they will be the size of all the other leagues in town.

Last years PJC Heavy weight team has 7 Freshman playing up on Sophomore 3 at JCA 1 at Central 1 at Minooka 1 at East and 1 at St Laurence. To make a statement saying they are not producing good high school players is just not true.

I think they were talking about inhouse football. Go figure, PJC only concerned with their beloved travel. That's the reason WE won't be back next year either

Keep drinking the kool aid, your clueless. PJC is on the decline, you got coaches fighting with their own coaches. You got kids that dont even want to play for them again. You got board members that are more interested in feeding their faces at the concession stand getting free food, rather then making sure things work smoothly for the games. You got travel teams that like running the score up on teams that shouldnt be playing travel. And the travel teams together dont even have a .500 or better record. Your numbers go down each year and next year will be no different, where gone.

I to have to agree with some of your statements. Mike has been led down the wrong path and it shows. He's ruin more friendships because of his poor choices in youth football. He's lost some friends he's had for years because he's been more of a tool, then a real friend. I to was once Mike's friend, and yes our teams were stacked, not only with good players, but we made sure we didnt have full rosters so we could have our really good players playing both ways. Truth be told....Sorry Mike

I just have to say pjc is really not the 1st class youth football team in Plainfield. So what they won a few superbowls but the Board is the problem, when you have the Vp Joe Phipps and Lisa Marshall who has to talk about other teams and say that they suck and have no home and have a bunch of ghetto people on their team. Really we all live in Plainfield!!I would love to see how they are gonna make it,they must really be hurting if they have to beg people and let them play for free and have people buy the old crappy shoulder pads and cheap helmets I heard. Its funny because the board went through about 60,000 in one year out of the building fund. There is other leagues in this town so being the biggest isnt always the best.Good luck to pjc and hope your not in the same boat as the Saints and Mike Ingram in a few years and not have a field to play on because you cant pay for your fields!

I have been a loyal pjc supporter for several years, but I too learned they are letting kids from other organizations play for free, that was the last nail. I'm done with this half ass league. What happened to being loyal to ALL the people that have been with pjc, where is it my kids get to play for free. Why are we catering to a few, when you could be helping out those that were loyal. pjc board should be ashamed of themselves. Then to make matters worse, the pjc board spent a almost $2,000.00 on dinner and drinks on themselves last month, for what your kids play for free how much more do you need.

Thats why my family left, been there for years and when this new board took over we left. They are making a bad name for Plainfield. They spend money foolishly and have drained the account by buying those helmets that my kids only ran out 1 time because they didnt work or they were just to lazy to put up at end of the season.I'm also so sick of hearing about TRAVEL,everything they do is for travel, last time I saw there were a few travel kids and 100x more inhouse. In house makes up for 90%of the funds that PJC is made of.Even the Inhouse isnt the same anymore coaches fighting, refs dont care about the kids safety its all about getting paid..Pjc witch was 1st class is now a place were I wont ever go back too..

Frank was a great guy, who started the inhouse program so that the kids who wouldn't have much opportunity to play otherwise. I agree that people feared him, but they also respected him. For the love he had for the organization. I would hate to see what he thinks about the mess that PJC has made of itself, with the yahoos who took over for him and Vic. PJC will continue on it's downward spiral until Barney Rubble aka VP, and Butthead aka President are gone. Unfortunate- but true

We can't believe that they are letting new players play for free and anyone who has been loyal to them is charged! My sons have been in both travel and in house programs and it continues to be a sham- we r gone! Looked at all the programs and took my boys to the Prowlers- Saints have issues and not sure on the Wolverines. We chose Prowlers over Wolverines because of longevity . Good luck to PjC but I know of at least 4 other families from our team last year who went with us-

Wow love he pjc die hards, if you league is so great why are you offering boys from other teams for free, and losing your own to other teams. Maybe your focus should be on what to do to keep your loyal customers instead of losing them to other teams, because you have no loyalty. Sounds pretty hard up. I remember when pjc use to have over 2,000 boys and girls with pjc, but every since Franky, Vic, and Dom left the board their has been losing more and more kids each year. Your numbers last year were the worst they have ever been, yet the Prowlers, Wolverins, and Saints numbers increased. Loyalty is important you should be rewarding those people instead of those that left you. IF I WAS WITH PJC THE PAST COUPLE YEARS I WOULD LEAVE TO ANOTHER ORGANIZATION BECAUSE PJC IS NOT LOYAL TO THEM.

Can't wait to see the lawsuits for them selling old equipment which was probably never reconditioned. PJC you are going to give youth football a bad name. Actually you are an embarassment to the sport. Joe Phipps all you can do is go out and bash other teams, take a look at yourself, your nothing but a piece of donkey dung. Its embarassing the way you talk and go about things.
Attention families who are getting free registration, beware of the equipment you are buying it is old with no warranty. Also it really isn't free after all. All the other Plainfield teams supply the equipment.
Its obvious PJC is out for the few adult egos and not looking in the best interest of the kids.

Truth i'm a little confussed, what is pjc doing. And your right about that chubby guy, with the chipmonk cheeks, he was talking to my son at a wrestling meet at plainfield east high school, trying to get boys to sign up that were from other football teams.

Seems like ... you wouldn't know the TRUTH if it hit you. Reading through all these posts, one truth folks come away with is that its the same person(s) posting the same rhetoric under different screen names. You spew half truths and lies about the same organization over and over. The truth is you have a jones for this group that you cant seem to get over. Your opinion is at best comical, spiteful and childish at the least. Folks see right through the garbage. And again, YOU SIMPLY CANNOT PROMOTE YOUR OWN ORGANIZATION, you have to defame, demean and defraud others. Very sad.
