Looks like they've screwed up the MacGregor Rd project. Now a job that was suppose to be done by july 31 won't be complete till mid Sept at best. See where all that no bid work gets us. This is the group the majority wants to take care if all our roads. NO THANKS. I bet you can all guess who is paying for the screw up. YEP you and I.

Look into their record..left go by the city of lockport many years ago...no itemized records from them...and this speaks for itself! They are friends of the loser! Taxpayers pay again...yep, saving us money, what a joke!

Ask the flimflam man on the city about the organization and he will make up anything that comes to his mind. He is a master of masquerading the public in this situations. There is a reason behind all of this and it benefits the majority! Open your pockets, taxpayers, you got hit again!

Never fear, when it comes to issues like that, COWARD TURNER and GANG along with the Robinson, which never itemizes its bill will never let it be known to the public. Remember Denise pushing for checkbook on line, now she should push to have all itemized bills from engineers online as well, along with lawyer bills. Sure there will be some items from lawyer regarding personnel, but any elected official discussions not related to personnel is should listed in detail. That would really show true transparency and maybe restore some faith in the council. Of course we all know that will never happen, that was just pipe dreams and soundbites during campaigning. Can't wait to hear the B.S. soundbites to come from the 2 old goats. Oh yes lets not forget the HEAD COWARD when he runs for Mayor. Another failed attempt at a political career. What will this failed attempt be for running in Lockport 10,15 what. Don't hold your breath waiting for a true answer from the COWARD wether it be here, the paper or better yet at the public meeting, for we all know questions from the taxpayers are never answered in truth, only with demeaning answers in paper, public and blogs. it a legitimate question to ask as to what is the problem causing the delay

They made assumptions about the culvert rather than doing their homework and now they have to wait for new plans to be drawn. The poor peopke on that street. Have had enough of an inconvenience and now this. No work has been done for two weeks and the entire project was suppose to be done by July31. Now it looks like mid-sept at best. Part of the sidewalk is missing and kids have to start walking to the bus stop in another week. I drove down macgregor on thurs and you should see how steep the lower part of those driveways are now. I know the road will be raised sone but this is a dramatic change from what they were. If the homeowners haven't started screaming yet I'm sure they will. Shocking how a one blick stretch of road can take 3.5-4.5 months to do.

Engineers were let go for that very reason. He never itemized the bills, just one big bill and poof the city council is now paying it with no explanation. Does that sound like a group you would want running your town---No, emphatically No! It seems like there is a deal cut! New people---get rid of this kind of group---dealing under the table! But then the minority and the past Mayor approved all this money for a Consultant to come in and do yet another downtown study? But this one is different....this one WILL NOT sit on the shelves and collect dust! Well, it's been over two years now....where is the study?

If you all remember, that is what a good portion of our increased water rates was for. A plan was put into place, a way to pay for it. Sadly along comes NO-BID Turner and his gang of misfits, who stop everything, decide to pay Robinson hundreds of thousands to do new studys, along with costing all of us unknown fine amounts, nothing to show for all this money being collected except Engineer and legal bills. Don't worry we hear Robinson has a plan to fix the downtown area, of course when the majority makes good on their so called promise to lower the rates, there will be no way to pay for it until after the election hoping they win along with Robinson who is probably putting an addition of their office building with all of the free money Lockport is giving them. Best part is their plan will look very similiar to CMT. What a waste of money. So don't blame everything on the past, for a plan was put into place finally to fix the downtown area infrastrucure which in turn would have made it more desirable for business's to come. Thank you NO-BID Turner for the do nothing new majority.

I just checked this week's council agenda. I see Robinson is receiving another no bid contract. Three other contracts are also being awarded tomorrow night. However, all three of these companies received the contract via the bid process.

How come the engineering contract wasn't awarded via bid?
