what the hell was that noise??

[scared the neighborhood]

sitting here in the house, then I hear what I think was a Plane getting ready to crash into my sub-division, heard it once it scared us, then the second time were running out of the house as the houses are shaking.
Anyone else experience this around 1:30pm today?

it was the plainfield police department using a new tactic of checking for village sticker violations or the trustees looking for residents who havent been taxed enough

Nope, went outside to see (@ County Line and Caton Farm) and it was a VERY low flyover by what appeared to be a FA-18 Hornet or other fighter plane.

Have no idea why, and Google searches revealed no results!

Also, about a month or so prior, I witnessed a passenger plane being trailed (or escorted) by two fighters on its tail heading toward Chicago, as the crow flies.

Anyone else see that in the area?

And it seemed like it want on for a half hour or so.

Im pretty sure it was an F-15 air force fighter.
they have a base in Indiana.

Many of the citizens of Romeoville are concerned. From other blogs say that it seems that some of the planes are out of Lewis U and the airport in Romeoville. I saw the plane over my own house and I can tell you I did get scared. This plane was too low and started to veer on it's right side. I thought it was going to crash right in to RHS or the houses nearby (by the grace of God, it didn't!). It's becoming a real problem.
