A solemn "thank you" to our boys. The Marines have a fine tradition being the first to go into a fight for the US. Since the revolution to Jefferson dispatching them to eradicate Barbary pirates, to gallant attacks in the Civil War, both World Wars up to today, they've defended us with honor and valor. Thank you seems hardly enough. Happy Birthday!

Semper Fi! My son in law just arrived in Afgntn this week. I'm Old Corps, so is my brother. Adapt and overcome. To see the history unfold visit Sgt Grit web site. Saw a bumper sticker the other day. "Join the Marines and see the world; get to know different people; then kill um" Perhaps a little too strong but it made me laugh.
