No it's not about that...it's about transparency...being upfront with businesses and the American people. Do you really think people can afford $63 more taken out of their paycheck? Businesses? If businesses go bankrupt and less people have jobs it won't matter because this so-called pre-existing condition fee won't be able to be paid one way or another unless through IRS enforcement...imagine that...
Really...are you saying that you have such a me, me, me mentality you'd rather see everyone else taken down then figure out a better solution?
Which again still does NOT address the real issue...healthcare costs...
Which continue to skyrocket...
You're absolutely correct! I just got the figures for our new policy. It went up to $15,085.20, which is an increase of $1,261.44. We have to pay half plus copays and a $500 deductible and $2,000 co-insurance per person (up to 3). Our out of pocket medical/dental expenses this year are over $20,000. Fortunately, we were able to run $6,000 through the flexible spending account. Thanks to Obamacare, the limit for a FSA is now only $2,500, regardless of the number of dependents. That is about what we spend each year in just prescriptions and doctor visits. This means, for me, I will no longer be able to afford my spine procedures. Our policy also has a new change which states out-patient injectible medications (chemo, for example) will have an addition co-insurance max of $2500.

Thanks to Obamacare, I cannot afford my own medical treatments......pretty sneaky way to cut costs.......for whom I couldn't tell you grrrrrrr!

This has been my point all along...

If people would just have thought it through...

I mean compare the three most used hospitals/medical care here...Lovelace vs Presbyterian vs UNM Hospital. Lovelace has a kind of flimsy rep...Presbyterian has the better rep of the three...but just look at UNM...this how government run healthcare is run...at one time I didn't have insurance and through UNM/First Choice was able to get care...but you were limited...and the costs weren't much cheaper...

So as I was thinking if I would support Obamacare or not an example was UNMH...a poor to fair option...but now we'll all be priced out of our good options into the government option...

As 2014 comes around you'll see more of what you're experiencing and probably worse...

The time for "the state" to control and own us is just about here...

No, I am perfectly lucid right now. As a society, everyone is everyone's concern. Without that basic fact, societies break down.
But think about it this way. A sick, or dieing worker can't produce as much or as well as a healthy one. So it's also a smart economic move.
I'm going to drop out of this discussion as its obvious I'm in a lose lose situation here and nothing I say will be taken as it is meant.

I wish you the best sir, I truly do.

Look when someone jumps off a cliff {a fiscal cliff?}...gravity takes over and unless there is a bungee cord or paraglide suit or parachute or inflatable mat...there will be a splat at the bottom...

Correlation causation...kinda funny that way...

Really? only if you are referring to the yearly increase Social Security/Medicare increases it by a few dollars.

You must love Obama and how he is screwing people like you.

All one need to do to see what is just the tip of the ice berg is what is happening to ABQ Health Partners, dropping Lovelace and going with Blue Cross to save money AND selling out to another company.

And that is only the beginning, next year more consolidating and the year after most seniors and others will be forced to pay out of their miserly SS for a good doctor IF you can find one who will accept you.

For one who claims to be a business owner your pretty shallow if you can't see what is going on with your Dictator of a President.

Now for another of your stupid one line replies.

Nationalize the greedy Insurance Companies, and this will end. Your capitalistic bent simply pools $$$ for these bastards and lets our citizens go without Health Care. GO OBAMA!

no I'm referring to my Blue Cross Blue Shield individual policy that have had now for 10 years and 20+ years before that of dealing with health insurance companies for myself and employees. To blame the president for a pattern that hasn't changed and accelerated about 8 years ago is just stupid.

And we don't have a dictator. He was duly elected. If he wasn't so deferential to those who irrationally hate him and those who are beholden to the 1%, we wouldn't have this phony debt limit and self-created fiscal cliff BS slowing down the recovery.

Phony debt limit? You want unlimited borrowing? Do you have ANY idea about how an economy works?

Okay...here's the deal...

Not everyone has an expensive Jaguar...so what you want to do is have those people and others that might have new cars...to sell their new cars to government and then the government will give everyone old clunker cars...this way everyone will get a car...

Forget the fact that the quality of the cars will be poor at best and death traps at worst...as long as everyone has a car...

Yet you still haven't addressed one little point in all of this...the actual cost of a car...

Or as in healthcare costs...the government...this bill has NOT addressed the healthcare costs...which was the main problem anyway...

So now you have a mandatory IRS enforced law that everyone MUST have insurance {insurance companies love this} even as those same insurances can now raise thier costs more than ever...and we have no choice in the matter...

What a way to stick it to those greedy companies...give them the power of the IRS to collect money through the government for them...
