WalMart's prices dropped for a short while during the time that rumors were going around about Albertson's returning, but as soon as it was confirmed that they weren't, prices shot right back up.<quoted text>
That is what I though when I was in town and saw Walmart's prices. Didn't check Lowes. But I have been checking the Lowe's ads and your prices are lower than Kansas City! I don't buy meat because it is too expensive, but your meat is downright cheap compared to here. I may eat meat after I move.
A lot of my grocery shopping is Lowe's sales paper shopping, whether at Lowe's itself or by taking the paper to WalMart for their price matching. The main reason I like shopping at Lowe's is because I'm not as "tempted" to buy things that I don't need, whereas I think WalMart specifically designs their stores for that very purpose.
