Before Tera Chavez, There Was Kaitlin Arquette

On or about July 17, 1989, in the City of Albuquerque, County of Bernalillo, New Mexico, Kaitlin Arquette, a UNM student and daughter of best-selling author Lois Duncan-Arquette ("Ransom", "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and now, sadly "Who Killed My Daughter"), was murdered by person or persons unknown. Her family believes it was because Kaitlin knew too much about a New Mexico-based auto-insurance/theft fraud ring and was planning to
expose it. Doesn't that sound very much like what happened to poor
Tera Chavez in the Levi Chavez, former APD Officer, case? Tera Chavez's family claimed in their lawsuit (settled by the City of Albuquerque) that LT. Shawn O'Connell, SGT Ron Olivas, SGT James Silver, 4 John Doe APD Officers and Levi Chavez, all APD Officers at the time, were involved in just such an activity. Recently, the truck that Officer Levi Chavez forced Tera Chavez to report as stolen was found in Mexico with the vehicle identification number tag off another Albuquerque Police Officer's (Pete Dwyer)
truck. Dwyer, who was head of the Albuquerque Police Officers' Association, had stepped down as union president due to a pending investigation of other charges made against him. Dwyer's truck had been totaled by his insurance company after it was written off as a total loss. Could Kaitlin Arquette have been murdered by a clique of Albuquerque Police Officers involved in that type of activity? We need the Federal Bureau of Investigation to step in and fully investigate all aspects of the Tera Chavez case, and re-open the Kaitlin Arquette murder case as a "Conspiracy to deny Kaitlin Arquette's Civil Rights" and Murder, and to find out if they were both the result of a long running criminal enterprise by rogue elements of the Albuquerque Police Department.

I'm with you Passive, APD needs an outside investigation. Too many "odd" situations over the years. I still can't get over how no one was held responsible for the evidence room coverup. Its as if no one had responsibility for criminal case evidence. Is it purposeful? For retired soldiers like us this is a hard pill to swallow. No accountability!

Was just scanning through news stories and saw this from Fox: Who Polices the Police? A narrative by the Judge. Worth watching regardless of politics.

You all are as far from the truth as can be. But if you want to look at things then look at the call made by University VW which was on the corner of Lomax and University about shots being fired. Lookat the statements given by people near or passing by on the night Arquette was shot. Did APD botch the investigation? You betcha!
