Corrine Loomis is not a detective! She is and always has been a Lesbian spokes-person for the Placentia PD Many times she has pulled off this false label as a "Detective" in court and televison apperances and has been un-masked all the time,
Trust only the lead investigator or Placentia PD Chief to tell you the truth about this cold case.

That's what you comment on... They f ing title to the detective or spokesperson... Wow..

Wow, I can't believe they finally found the body. I Miss her soo much. I was friends with Lynsie and went to High School with her. I moved away from Ca in 99, I have followed this case and never a day goes by where I didn't think of her. But I guess this proves Chris did it.. He lead police to her body near castaic lake

Lynsie was the sweetest girl I have ever met, and could brighten any day just with her smile. Love and Miss you, Rest in Peace. May chris suffer tremendously for what he did.

He'll be in prison for the next 40-50 years. Good place for a guy like him.

Where's all the "it's those illegal immigrants mantra" so common to these blogs. Cowardnes, Stupitiy, intolerance, jealousy, and plain old evil comes in all colors. I hope this young ladies family can find some peace now. May God Bless them

I am so glad for this family to have some kind of closure - not the best kind - but at least they don't have to continue to wonder every day if she is out there. May this family find peace in this tragic time.

There is too much in this story that is not explained.

In what fashion did the three women separate, or were the other two somehow involved? And what evidence at hand led the authorities to the alleged murderer? Why did they not act for almost a decade?

The writer should have covered this.

I'm so glad Nancy can now have closure, it appears she has never gave up hope in finding her daughter. She is a wonderful, sweet person that always has a smile on her face despite these long difficult years of not knowing what happened to her daughter.I hope the killer rots in hell and suffers everyday for the rest of his life for doing what he did.
God Bless the family, you have many friends and co-workers that are supporting you.

Most of the crimes are committed by Hispanics and Blacks. Look at your prisons. You can't compare crimes committed by a small percentage of a race and say, "hey crimes in all colors". LOOK AT THE PERCENTAGES!!!!

I agree! I'm sorry for your loss. I don't think we will ever stop thinking about the ones we lost. I'm sure she is in a better place smiling down at you, her family and her friends! <3 I'm glad they got the jerk!

Here's a detailed article about this case written by a Fullerton College student last year. The writer is a student, so it jumps around a little, but it is a pretty interesting read.

You need to read the story again. It said father and son worked at one time at that location (that is how the killer knew about and chose the location where he left her.)It does not say the father helped him bury her.

Not so, maybe a majority of crime is commited by other races but it doesn't mean they are illegal. Just because some in of another race doesn't mean they are automatically illegal. Most illegals are harmless just people trying to make a better life for themselves.
