Entire families suffered from corrupt Luzerne County judges

Families involved in the awful ordeal involving two Luzerne County judges who prosecutors say took kickbacks for sending children to private detention facilities can't really measure their emotional toll.

The latest corruption involving two Luzerne county judges is nothing new in this county.. This county has always been corrupt from the judical system to local city politics...Nothing ever changed in this area for years..I still believe we have ten thousand people who are deceased that still vote these corrupt people back in..The best thing that would happen to this county is to remove them all from office and start over with fresh meat

I agree 100% with billf,we need to get our heads out of the clouds and do something. People have to stop saying there's nothing I can do, alone maybe not, together we can make a difference. We really do need to have a clean sweep in that courthouse.There's alot of stuff that goes on there that shouldn't and as long as we sit back and let it... then we get what we deserve. You may think you'll never have to worry about any legal problems but if you do, it will be a lesson learned to late...once you find yourself in our justice system you will find that the only justice you get is not what you believe justice to be, it is the Luzerne County Courts justice and I can garautee it will leave you wondering what the h... just happened? Lets do something about it and get new people in there and try to make the law for everybody not just the connected.

These guys are dirt bags as much as Judge Bill Shaffer in Butler County.

Don't feel alone Luzerne County. Corruption goes on all over the state.

this is nothing new. when i was a teenager my sister had to go to the juvenile center to see her probation officer because she did something wrong. my friend and i went with her so she wouldn't have to walk there and home alone. my friend and i were sitting in the hall while she was in the room. i was talking to my friend and i said they would never put me in one of those cells-i would put my arms and legs out and they would have to push me in.no sooner did i say that someone grabbed me by the back of my next and tossed me in a cell. i spent 3 days locked in that cell. i was never accused of or charged with a crime, never went to court, never had a lawyer- nothing. i was never in trouble for anything,needless to say my life went down hill from there. where was my justice? and they wouldn't let my mother see me?
