15 years for dealing one pound, should of gotten more time for dealing this poison that can end up with our kids. He said this was the first time he sold drugs,I'll bet it is the first time he was caught not the first time he sold. Anyone that deals drugs should be locked away for years. If someone is caught using the first time should get probation and sent to rehab, second time they should get prison time, maybe a year or two.The third time they should get a min of 3-4+ years, maybe they would learn that it isn't worth getting stoned. They should make pot legal and arrest anyone that uses "hard"drugs. Do I feel sorry for him?,not at all,he made his bed and now he is paying the price for being a dealer. It was his choice.

yeah....it makes so much more sense to give a non-violent felon a a long sentence and parole child molesters and other violent criminals. yes they should be punished for the crime they commited but the punishment should fit the crime. tell me, why are child molesters even let back out on the street?

If I had my way all child molesters would be hung from the biggest tree they can find. And yes the punishment should fit the crime like I said in my first post.

Ahhhh....the Draconian Rockerfeller Drug laws.
The War on Minority and poor communities. AS those who bring this poison here get paid long before the low level Offenders get busted.
Phillip Morris and Anheuser Bush are major drug dealers. One peddles an addictive substance called Nicotine. If they made these poisons illegal we would have a whole new slew of "criminals".
**PROHIBITION....does this ring a bell ????
The U.S is full of hypocrisy!!!!

This low-riding top-buttoned flannel-shirt-wearing slicked-backed-hair taco smuggler should still be locked up. We know he'll contribute zero to society.

From your immature response one can conclude that you are a Young, faithful inhaler of those toxins that come in a pack of 20. Those foul smelling, highly addictive cancer sticks that cause numerous health problems and is banned from more places than your momma.......right? RIGHT!!!

Keep in mind that a drug, is a drug, is a drug.

<quoted text>quite different with cocaine. guns, violence go in hand with drugs. and no one told minorities and poor to use drugs. stop blaming the system and take responsibility. liberals are simps
YOU are as dumb as a door knob. DRUGS= Alcohol, cigarettes, cocaine, heroin and marijuana.

The ONLY difference is alcohol and cigarettes are legal. Just imagine what would happen if cigarettes and alcohol were made illegal.

When prohibition was in affect violence was exhibited then which is similar to the same level of violence with cocaine/crack today.

Like the commentors said...a drug....is a drug.....is a drug. If you stop prohibiting people from freely using them, you almost eliminate the dangerous violence. Ever hear of Al Capone, dipsh*t stick??

People mess up their lives everyday with alcohol.

<quoted text>i dont use drugs at all. if i sold a lb of coke i would expect to go to prison. and ive heard the legalization crap before. cocaine is not legal anywhere. does not compare to prohibition. marijuana perhaps does. know the facts of drug abuse. i quit cigarettes, too expensive and unhealthy. thank you
Cocaine is LEGAL in it's Native land. Just like WE take coffee breaks, they take coca breaks. They chew on the leave just as we sip coffee.
