Rhonda's people axin like Rhonda's people.

A man in his early 20s was shot and wounded while on the front porch of a house at 89 Coleman Terrace on Rochester’s east side early Saturday.

The shooting occurred shortly before 12:30 a.m. Coleman Terrace runs between Clifford Avenue and Hempel Street.

Rochester police Capt. John Corbelli said the victim, whose name was not released, was shot in the mid-torso. The injured man, born in 1989, was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

“It seems to be one of those things where the individual came up from the south side of the house, then came up to the front,” Corbelli said.“The individuals were on the porch -- three individuals, one was the victim -- and apparently just shot without provocation.”

Corbelli said that police believe the injured man was a visitor to the Coleman Terrace address.

When if ever will "they" join the civilized world?
