Downing, Farley-Bouvier, Mark and Bianchi, four reasons to reject the new city charter. I'm sure there are others.

They are four great reasons to vote against changing the city charter. but the best one of all is because the whole purpose behind it is to give even more power to the people who control this city. the same people who are raising taxes every year and wasting it on things we do not need. Much of it cannot even be accounted for. It gets lost in space. If you vote to update the city charter you will be sticking one more knife in your own back. the propaganda machine telling you how wonderful the whole scheme is is about to take center stage very soon. read between the lines people because this circus act is not going to be to your benefit.

Agree, The new Charter was created by hand picked stooges of Bianchi & Mazzeo. They completely missed any chance to improve the working of local government and city hall by dismissing the City Manager form of government.

More power and a longer term to a clueless, corrupt, lying person like Dan Bianchi.

After Bianchi stuck it to the taxpayers with his budget; he deserves a longer term.

Can anyone tell me why no one is going to run against Bianchi for Mayor?

Where is that tipsy one? Because I'll vote for her. Actually if given the choice between Bianchi and a box of rocks, I'll vote for the box of rocks. And if they add to the ballot a choice between a pile of dog shit or Lothrop, I'll vote for the less reeking vile repugnant offensive choice. The pile of dog shit!

Maybe it is because Bianchi has screwed up the city so bad in his first term that no one wants to come in and fix it.

Are you suggesting that the city wasn't screwed up so bad during the long, long reign of Ruberto? And please don't confuse this question to mean that I support Bianchi, because I don't. I voted for him because our choice, if you want to call it that, was between someone really really crummy or someone else really really crummy. And no matter who we voted for we were going to end up with someone really really really crummy! Just like the next election.

No I don't mean to suggest that at all. What I am saying is Bianchi was supposed to be the honest, hard working, financial conservative man of the people Mayor. He has turned out to be the complete opposite. Bianchi is lazy, he is not a full time Mayor because he is working at his energy job 2 days a week, he is a complete liar, he has no idea of the working of the city.

I am not denying Roberto was bad, because he was. I am just saying that Bianchi has turned out to be worse in a shorter period of time.

I agree he has all the negative traits necessary to surpass Ruberto and be awarded his very own "least ethical contemporary mayor" award. It's clear they all want one of their very own. But don't fool yourself the next mayor will be just as bad, AND worse. I'm sure it's their goal to be Pittsfield's crummiest most unethical dysfunctional mayor ever. The crummiest, most despised despicable detestable obnoxious repugnant pompous offensive disagreeable unsavory mayor Pittsfield has ever seen is at the tippitty top of the wish list for everyone who runs for mayor of Pittsfield. I'm sure it's at the very tippitty top of their wish list. And they always get their wish.

I am hopeful Greg Yon will run for Mayor. I know him he is a good and honest person. He is smart, well educated and has the management experience. When I asked him why he quite his position as Director of Maintenance he said as soon as Bianchi was elected he started looking for a new job. He went on to say he did not want his name or his family name connected to the Bianchi organization.

I think that counts as someone who has moral fiber.

Ok David, or should I call you city council witch Yon. And are you sure Bianchi didn't dump Yon and put one of his own cronies on the job? Because that's sounds much more truthful. While you're telling tales, why did Greg Yon leave his GE job?

Or was that unbelievable story just practice for when he becomes mayor?

Sorry pal that is a real story and this is my real name. I don't hind behide a made up name.

Why don't you ask the people who work at city hall. Bianchi is still sorry Yon left and so are many other people that work for the city.

And I don't think Yon will run anyway. He already has an excellent job.

DL I don't know Yon but what I have heard of him is pretty positive.

TCIH why do you always have a negative view on people. I have read your post in many different blogs on this site and have never seen you write anything positive.

You must have a sad life

I like your writing style. It is 100% accurate and puts things in a perspective everyone can relate to.

Might vote for Yon myself. But are you saying Yon thinks Bianchi is a bum but Ruberto was a great guy? Cuz lots of people think Ruberto was the lowest form of plant life we could have the misfortune of ever having had for mayor. I am one of them.

Happiness, An agreeable sensation arising from contemplating the misery of another.~Ambrose Bierce identifying the audience for his Devil's Dictionary.

And not surprisingly, the Monster Lothrop always has that diabolical evil grinning smirk on his evil face. I'm going to guess it's from the pleasure and satisfaction he gets from picking on 2-year-olds and making them sad and miserable. Kroll the troll is always giggling like a fool. Clairmont possesses a scary evil clown-like happy grin. I've seen the same grin on Ruberto and Bianchi's faces. Ruberto's dead wife, I've heard, was HAPPY. And Bianchi's wife no doubt must be HAPPY. So whether I have a sad life or not, at least I'm not any of them.

SOS I am not saying Roberto was a good Mayor and I am not sure want Yon thinks of him I never asked him.

What I am saying is Yon decided after Bianchi got elected that he did not want to be part of the Bianchi administration and found another job and quit.

In this economy for someone to quit a good job and go out get a different one because they do not want to be associated with Bianchi says a lot about a person.
