Pittsfield has at least two options for braodband, Time Warner Cable and Verizon DSL.
TWC is 10/2 MBps and Verizon Biz class is static IP, 5/1 or 10/2. |

In physics and nuclear chemistry, nuclear fusion is the process by which multiple- like charged atomic nuclei join together to form a heavier nucleus. It is accompanied by the release or absorption of energy. Iron and nickel nuclei have the largest binding energies per nucleon of all nuclei. The fusion of two nuclei with lower mass than iron generally releases energy while the fusion of nuclei heavier than iron absorbs energy; vice-versa for the reverse process, nuclear fission.
Nuclear fusion occurs naturally in stars. Artificial fusion in human enterprises has also been achieved, although not yet completely controlled. Building upon the nuclear transmutation experiments of Ernest Rutherford done a few years earlier, fusion of light nuclei (hydrogen isotopes) was first observed by Mark Oliphant in 1932, and the steps of the main cycle of nuclear fusion in stars were subsequently worked out by Hans Bethe throughout the remainder of that decade. Research into fusion for military purposes began in the early 1940s, as part of the Manhattan Project, but was not successful until 1952. Research into controlled fusion for civilian purposes began in the 1950s, and continues to this day. |

Great point, is it really Joe's job to frisk his cliental and possibly turn away buisness because of the way someone looks? He's been a part of that community for a long time, he's earned the right to work and own a buisness. |

Ok D.P. is weighing in on this mess ...
First this quote: "Bowler and Wynn felt Teti needs to keep better tabs on the clientele frequenting his establishment." If Mr Tetti has to do this than why not every other establishment? Lets be serious here for a moment shall we, lets say this happened at Patricks Pub or Lachs Lounge even??? I bet they would not end up before the board. That guy has been here a long time trying to make a buck and run his business, don't you think he would not want a better choice of clientele if he could get one???...Come on guys!! He is at the top of the Ghetto!!! Hellooo! Next how about this one: "Board member Albert Pisani urged Teti to call police anytime he gets a stranger in his place." Can you say profiling?? And most likely racial profiling...Um hello is that legal??...The Board of Italian overlords don't know nothing bout that.. ;) And how about this one: "Massimiano told Teti the shooting has been a "black eye" for the city." Did he mean a Black Guy??? OOOOOEEEEE!! Thats some cold shit! And Finally, "In one night we did more damage to Pittsfield's reputation," he said. "We don't want these people in Pittsfield, never mind in your place." These people??? Well looks like we got ourselves a Buford T Justice here folks!! He gonna run the jail, he gonna run the liqueur board, he gonna run dem people right outa Pittsfield I reckon!! Here comes the judge, here comes the judge!! General Electric did more damage in one day to Pittsfield reputation and our soil than these hoods will ever do. They came here and created huge wasteland. So are these the hero's we should be modeling after??? PS- I think we need more cops I noticed there was a hole in the road on the corner of South and West Housy and there wasn't anyone standing around to look over it!! |

Ditto. Is Albert Pisani the member who sits to the left of the sheriff? I was watching a recent meeting on PCTV and he said something about something. The Sheriff looked at him like he was half nuts and said "What?" His response was, "Oh, I was thinking about something else in my mind." I can't make that up. Off subject: Swinson, when did the motor-cross track open up in the hood? |

"Bowler and Wynn felt Teti needs to keep better tabs on the clientele frequenting his establishment." And maybe the police should keep better tabs on the criminal element in the area...it's no secret who they are. Seems the police want everyone else to solve crimes for them!

Put Deputy's on the streets, you think that would make them more safe. There not real police, they went to a six week class instead of a 21 week academy and you think they should be on the street. They should just cut back on the sheriffs budget and put that money to real police use. |

This is stupid. How is it Mr. Teti's responsibility to call the Po-PO,if they want to know who is in the place perhaps they should put a cop on duty there!!!

Massimememe had to say what he said, should have grabbed his license right there, and Pisani grew up with the guy, c'mon wake up. Teti has had thugs in his establishment for a long time and he doesn't know of One, puuullllleeeeeeaaaaaassssse. I do think that place is unsafe now, talk about an easy drive by, they could go fifty different ways nsew and out of town. He has suffered the ultimate penalty, people will be afraid to go there now. |

There are too many drugs and too much alcohol in Pittsfield period. Everyone should vote no on question two or this City will be flooded with more problems than we already have....all drug related. A hundred dollar fine for having an ounce of pot in their possession will be just a minor inconvenience for the drug dealers who will just remember to never leave their house with more than an ounce on their person. Meanwhile, they will be selling drugs more than ever.
Pittsfield has enough crime and drug problems now. Say no to question 2 or the problem will indeed get worse. |
