Way too close for comfort. My dau & her hubby insisted on living in a diverse neighborhood... their decision. I'm speaking as a concerned parent/grandparent.

Your fears are understandable, but after all it was found in the trash, somebody changed there mind , to bad Timothy Mc Veigh didn't do the same.

Um. English and Canadian are not races, pal.

BTW: with the growing trend of Hispanics entering the country, white people are NEVER going to be the minority in this country.

Nope, not a race.

Nope, not a race. My black neighbors talk funny. Ironically enough, so do my fifth generation ethnic white Pittsburgher neighbrs.

Portuguese is a language. Brazilian is a nationality.

We were discussing diversity, not languages or countries of origin.

Seems to me that being in a neighborhood with all those "kinds" of people make it diverse. Talking to someone from England, a great looking woman from Brazil, one neighbor at the end of the street adopted 2 Chinese. Trust me, it's not your typical Pgh or anywhere USA neighborhood.

As to original owners, this neighborhood is only 24-28 years old, so some of the originals are still here. If taxes become too high, Butler county is only 2 miles up the road.

LOL. Sounds like a typical neighborhood in NY, SF or LA. Try getting outside of Pittsburgh, it might open your eyes to what diversity really is.

Sounds like a nice neighborhood, though.

Are you saying EVERY neighborhood in NY, SF, and LA is like mine? Show me the stats. Plus, you've named the #1,#2, and #14 most populated areas. I'm guessing it that got that way because they have JOBS to attract people to the area.

People here, despite your rantings to the contrary, are not opposed to "diversity". It will happen if and when this area recovers economically.

The Hispanics will come, sooner or later. All those pretty Polish and Dago churches will be turned into pretty Mexican ones. Bloomfield might become Little Honduras. Polish Hill could become Sonoran Hill.

It will happen. Eventually.

Dago?

My mother was Italian, you bigot. Say that in Bloomfield and your Arizona ass is history.

And you claim to promote diversity. What a joke.

Pipe bombs are usually a paranoid racist white thing.

Maybe the neighborhood is so diverse and tolerant that neo-nazis and abortion clinic bombers feel welcome there.

Immigrants in general only go to cities where there are jobs. College graduates don't even stick around this place.

I'm Calabrian, you idiot. I hear that word in Bloomfield all the time. I even see it on some menus.

Take your hillbilly ass back to your Lilly White neighborhood. No one believes you when you say its diverse. You're just trolling and talking stories to prove your point, racist.

In my hometown calling someone a Dago was not a healthy thing to do.

As to my neighborhood, I'm guessing you could never afford to live here, but the racial makeup is exactly as I stated.

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Leo

Your sunny temperament has returned, dear Leo, as the Sun and Venus dance in Sagittarius and the marvellous Moon shines in your sign. Whatever the day has to offer, it should bring you some pleasure and laughter, so arrange something nice if you don't have anything planned. Your power to charm is considerable right now and it will make you a big hit with whoever gets the full force of it. But don't give someone the come-on if you don't mean it.
