No matter how many times they investigate it, the same person still did it. Everyone knows who it is. And there is no evidence. So what do you do now?

Seems like if a crime isn't to do with DRUGS in WOOD COUNTY the cops don't really care. This is just my opinion! They work day and night to bust people for drugs but can't solve much else....

Not only that, notice how it is only the users and little fish in the drug trafficking that get busted, especially in Winnsboro. Year after year, the big fish seem to never be caught. Why? Because the Winnsboro police look the other way when the town's power players are involved in any criminal activity. The entire city government needs to be investigated because they currently have a license to kill.

I don't know if anyone is reading anything on this website? It possible that it's too late to post anything that might help.

There is a show called "Cold Justice" where two women attorneys shed light on old cases. These women are based in Texas, I believe either out of Houston or Austin? They feature unsolved cases and actually travel to the small towns where the crime took place and get with local law enforcement and re-investigate the entire crime. The show also generates new leads and re-visits the crime scene. Last week, they solved a murder that was over 7 yrs old.

They invite people to contact the show over the internet. If I were Brittany's family, I would try and contact the show and try to get Brittany's case on the show. The show is very new, this is their 1st Season and it's doing very well in the ratings. They will be looking for other unsolved cases for the next season and the next.

These two women are seasoned attorney's and they know exactly what they're doing. The show is brilliantly done and is a god-send to small town law enforcement.

I hope this message reaches someone in Brittany's family and will encourage them to contact the show's producers over the internet. And hopefully the show's producers will call?

My heart goes out to Brittany's family. I had an uncle who was born and raised in Winnsboro, TX and whom was murdered at his home there on August 20th, 1992, and the killer(s) have not yet been brought to justice. We believe that he was murdered for the life insurance that his wife and her two teenage sons (from a previous marrage) had taken out on him. He was just 34 years old.

My prayers are there for you. Godbless!

To get to the shows website type:

www.coldjustice.com

There should be a link on there to email them and share the facts of Brittany's case and leave your contact information.

Also, this is the shows 2nd Season, I thought it was their first, but it's their 2nd.

P.S.

The shows website is: www.coldjustice.com

It appears that you have to first go to Winnsboro's law enforcement and they have to be the ones contact the show over this website. Civilians emails will not be answered.

I understand that Sheriff Brown will be re-opening cold cases their in Winnsboro. Get with him and have someone in his office contact the show "Cold Justice". Understand that I'm a person just like you. My family is also struggling with the unsolved murder of my uncle. My mother still cries. My 93 year old grandmother still cries. My uncle is missed everyday. We loved him dearly. We also want justice for him.

Brittany was my only sister. Nothing has still come out of this. I believe people know who did it but no one will come forward. Sorry a** people because if it was their family, they would want the same. I don't believe this will ever be solved and we will have no answers. 7 years just passed. Still feels like yesterday.
