Yesterday afternoon my father 74 years old had someone calling him about a new medical number. My dad ask the caller what company are you working for. They would only say we need your bank number,my dad told them you are not getting my bank account number.Com e to find out they are getting the first 4 numbers off of B&A members checks. We went to the bank let them know what was going on,my parents have a caller I.D. on their phone letting them know where the call was coming from Las Vegas NV.The bank told us all B&A members have the same 4 numbers on their check it called a route number. As long as you don't give out your whole account number your O.K. The bank has the phone number we gave them and the police has a statement from my dad the people yelled at my dad because they wanted his bank account. So to all Seniors beware don't give out your account number to no one be safe.
