New G Street Bridge Reaches Milestone

The western half of the G Street Bridge has been completed,with traffic scheduled to switch onto the new portion of the bridge in mid-November,
2012.This temporary switch will allow the construction of the eastern half
of the bridge.

During construction of the eastern half of the G Street Bridge,the following roads will be closed at G Street.

Drake Street
Tregallas Road
Minta Lane
The entire G Street Bridge is tentatively scheduled to be completed June,2013.

The Roosevelt Pedestrian Undercrossing east of Lone Tree Way/A Street willbe closed for the duration of the construction,The detour for pedestrians is the Cavallo Road Undercrossing a short distance to the east.
