i agree with you aboutdogs in town. but i lived in a very country area where people thought nothing of dropping off unwanted pets because "it's in the country and farmers will take care of them, they'll get plenty to eat. well i have seen packs of 20 or more dogs take down calves, mostly just for fun, rarely did they take a bite to eat, only to kill. when you count on your herd growing the loss of even one cow hurts. i have personally waded into an attack on my neighbors herd by over 25 full grown mostly wild dogs hell bent on killing as many calves as they could. thank god for large caliber assault weapons, between my neighbor and i we killed all but 3 of that mob. lo and behold, there were no more depradations that year. until the thoughtful townies brought more targets and left them. now because oflivingin town i realize i can't reacat that way, but nothing stops me from winging a rock their way.<quoted text>NOT a good idea-unless you want to be arrested-who has farm animals in town anyways? If they are messing with your animals go pay them a visit or call the people & let them know! What kind of a person shoots a dog?!?!?!?!?! What's wrong with you?!?!?!
i have my own dogs and i am responsible with them. they are trained well enough to listen to commands and never never roam loose unless they are under my control.
same goes with all these ferrel cats. a rock works great. tell me why i should put up with them pissing and spraying on my house and porch just because some irresponsible cat owner just has to feed them?
no not here, thank you. mind your own business. you and your pets infringe on my property rights.
if you have pets be responsible and this kind of action will stop
