Missing student at Rutgers

Why is there no news coverage from the papers regarding the missing student from the Busch Campus Tyler Clementi. Hes been missing for 2 days. There are police all over the dorm he was in and yet they still havent found him. Why is there a media block out.

I believe it still remains uncomfirmed. I'm only unsure because residents of his hometown received an email today that says he's still "missing" but a few teachers announced this morning that they know he's dead. In any case, it's a very dear loss.

they said no body was found and that he did jump off of the GWB. fort lee cops said all signs lead to suicide.

i know this kid hes been a very good friend to me for many years and yes it was a suicide he did jump off the GWB i know him through my church i miss him dearly please pray for his family

Tyler's body has not been found as of Saturday, September 25. The evidence points to the high possibility that he jumped off of the George Washington Bridge on Wednesday night, as reported by the Fort Lee police and his family.
Pray for his family and that his body can be found very soon so that they can begin the process of closure.

Yes, I have to agree. However, until no body is found they cannot rule it a suicide or murder for that fact. From what I understand 2 cyclists saw him jump and they were the ones who found his wallet and cell phone. Just tragic....

They still havent found his body and if it was a suicide, who actually thinks at that moment to remove your wallet and cell phone before jumping?? It seems very suspicious plus, he would spend time with strangers and now he is missing. I wish they would locate him. Something tells me there is more to his disappearance...hopefully he just took off for awhile. My prayers go out to his poor family.

It is strange how a body surfaced yesterday that jumped on Wednesday, the same day he "apparently" jumped. It had been said that he was last seen at a cafeteria at Rutgers around 630. I do really hope for his family's sake that he had to check out for a while maybe too much stress with first year at college. One way or the other I hope the find him soon. I just cannot imagine what his poor parents are going through....

I knew Tyler from orchestra.. first chair and he looked like he was going to be really successful. I heard what happened a few days ago but now i just heard on the news what happened. It's shocking. Too many suicides occur. Let's all pray for him and his family and do everything we can to prevent such "solutions" to temporary problems.

Dharun Ravi and Molly Wei have each been charged with two counts of invasion of privacy, and could face up to five years in prison if convicted on a third degree offense.

5 years you are kidding, they didn't push him over...heck he could have made big bucks for the gay porn tape if they'd split it with him

this is stupid 5 years, but you shoot somebody who is attacking you & you get life, I bet the hate card will be used because he's GAY.......Hogwash, America is spiriling downward daily, no justice, no morals & no God fearing people standing against sin.

The complete and utter lack of respect, compassion, empathy and decency you show towards this tragically deceased young man is the only sin here I see. Gay, straight, black, white, woman, man, we are all human beings and ALL GOD'S CHILDREN.

Love thy neighbor, treat others the way you want to be treated. Golden rule of Christianity. Golden rule of life. Sad there are people like you so filled with petty and irrational hate to follow such a simple rule, that would make the world a much better place.

I knew Tyler personally. He was always quiet and rather shy. He was extremely passionate about his music. His parents were rather strict. I believe he didn't come out and tell anyone he was gay because of his parents. I also believe the reason for his suicide was so he wouldn't have to deal with the embarrassment his family may have brought forth on him after they viewed the video. They finally found a body in the gw bridge, and confirmed it was his. My condolences to his family. He was a bright guy who deserved so much better. This truly is a hate crime.
