Judged: 1 And, a bonus lesson for those that think they have the first clue about christianity: The 10 Commandments http://www.youtube.com/watch... What is it that they teach? Yeah, it isn't in the bible...Gitcher bibles out! |
So let's say God created the Earth and everything in it.... if he has that much power then couldn't he possibly be able to keep all the animals alive and under his control and make this possible? |

Judged: 1 Well, your "God" does everything else through man, so why create an exception now? Convenience? Why didn't your "God" build the ark? He had Noah do it...Why? Anyway, he's the ever shrinking "God": "Seems to me that Christians worship the incredible shrinking god. I mean at one time it was supposedly capable of flinging thousands of billions of galaxies into existence with a mere thought. By the time of Noah, it was reduced to flooding an insignificant speck in the cosmos. "By the time of Moses, its best trick was moving a tiny portion of a minor sea aside for a short while. By the time of Jesus, it has to send a delegate on its behalf who leaves behind only rumors that he was able to turn water into another beverage, or render himself extra buoyant. "Now it counts as a miracle if a water stain grows mold that kind of looks like a bearded face which could be claimed to resemble this supposed delegate. How much more pathetic can this god get? How do Christians manage to sing praises of its glory and greatness without feeling like fools--or at best, like new parents gushing over their toddler's ability to make a pee." – Kronk |

Definitely agreed. And, has been repeatedly shown in the other thread--YOUR "instruction" is folly. You have any issues with bible study there, preacherman? Here's another bonus video: What Would Jesus NOT Do? https://www.youtube.com/watch... Gitcher bible out, folks! |

Judged: 2 2 2 You may not like the answer, but I will never sugarcoat the word of God, or His teachings. It is people like you that have weakened God's glory. You spread the lies, getting others to believe, and over time, we turn away from God. It is not that His power has diminished, we simply don't take the time to worship Him. There is coming a day of reckoning, and you will answer for EVERY idle word that you have spoken, and be accountable for EVERY life you have affected, whether good or bad. I choose to serve Jesus, LORD OF LORDS, and KING OF KINGS. The bible is there as a HELP and a GUIDE to believers, it cannot be rightfully discerned by a self proclaimed "pagan". Get to know the author, then you can understand THE BOOK. Keep calling God out, and you may find out He hasn't lost the power you think He has. HEBREWS 3 12-19 "Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief". It is PAST TIME for Christians to unite, again bringing God back into the forefront of our lives. We have allowed Him to be taken out of our public places, our schools, and some would have, OUR LIVES. |

Judged: 3 2 It is a knowing salvation, hard to explain to someone that hasn't experienced it. Think of it this way.....If I am wrong, when I die, I will simply be dead, will never know that I was wrong....But if a person that doesn't believe is wrong, when they die.....Well, they will have an eternity to "KNOW" they were wrong. I have always told everyone, if there is a chance they may believe, give Jesus a chance. If you don't like it, you can always go back to the way you were. Better than 90% of Americans believe in God, and still over 80% believe Jesus was, and is, the true Son of God. It is the other 15-20% that "know" they are right, and feel it there duty to "educate" the masses, when in reality all they are doing is leading others down the road to hell. Simple enough, but they will deny they are doing satan's work in the name of "goodness for humanity". Why would ANYONE want to start a topic trying to debunk God, without an agenda to truly hurt others? What "good" could possibly come from it? Jesus died for our sins, theirs too. It is God's will that all come to repentance, some just refuse to admit they are lost. |

Judged: 2 2 1 No problem at all with bible study, why not come to our church Tuesday night. I am publicly inviting you to bible study. As for the sinking ship quote, doesn't the bible that you study tell you that in the FINAL DAYS there will be a GREAT FALLING AWAY from the faith? That would probably worry me, if I wasn't already onboard that ship... |

Judged: 1 Sorry, but with your track record, so far, I have to pass. Seems I do much better understanding the bible on my own. The "Great falling away" we have dealt with how many times already? Yeah, it's an easy prediction to make, genius. Let's see before the end of America there will be a great falling away of the people from the government and it's leaders. errderrderrderr Syria? Ring a bell? Arab spring? OWS? It's not rocket science. http://www.topix.com/forum/city/la-follette-t... 387 ---------- Yeah, it's already been covered: "Yeah, it's an easy prediction to make, genius. Yet, the end is still NEAR, eh, preacherman? http://www.topix.com/forum/city/la-follette-t... 621 ---------- Continually repeating it doesn't make it more "valid". There is nothing "special" or "wise" about that "prediction". Simply: It's an easy, common sense prediction to make. One any decent psychic could come up with... |

Judged: 2 1 1 SO......I guess you are in the 15% group? How sure are you, and why, when 8 out of 10 people would disagree with you(and that is with the "falling away" crowd?? If a group of people tell me it's raining, and I want go outside and see for myself, am I correct when I argue and say it is sunny???, or am I just gonna get wet when I walk outside??? |

Judged: 2 2 2 Zig.....Zag......The truth is the truth, I thought this was "bible study". Why are you trying to deny the truth therein? I have a couple more bits of scripture to contemplate on..... Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.(NIV) Proverbs 3:7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.(NIV) Proverbs 10:19 When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.(NIV)(And with that, I will be quiet).:) |

Even your "Jesus'" disciples believed that your jesus was going to come back in THEIR lifetime. 2,000 yr later-->WHERE's he at? Still a no show. According to christianity the end is ALWAYS near....Yep, even 2,000 yrs later. LMAO! Learn some history and you would know these things already. |
