mr/miss pinson valley pageant

is anyone upset about the Mr/Miss pinson valley pageant on Feb. 16, 2008? I myself felt as though it was rigged and the winners were picked even before the pageant. It was not organized, no one was told where to go, how to walk on the stage and some contestants were even forgotten and others told they would get their sashes at a later time. It was a "you scratch my back I'll scatch yours" situation. Same thing goes with the ballpark in Pinson. My daughter has been in MANY pageants and has lost a few and placed in a few, but NEVER have I seen such a poorly conducted pageant as this one!! I will never enter any of my children in any events in pinson, until someone with some honesty and morals steps up and decides to run thing fairly in Pinson. All the children of Pinson deserve it!!!

I'm upset about this pageant to, I felt like my daughter was cheated and deserved better than just a participation trophy. She has also been in pageants and lost a few and placed a few. But I always felt that they were honest. This was a who knows who situation, and that is who placed for all catagories. They had the winners on one side and the future queens on the other. I believe that is why they had the numbers in the order that they were to make it easier on the judges. All I know Is I can sleep at night because I don't understand how anyone can do this to children.

I fill the same way and was worried that I was in this alone. I'm so glad to learn someone else fills the same way i do. my daughter also has been in many pageants and has also placed, it was obvious to not only to myself but also my family from the very beginning. I felt like she was cheated, and deserved better than just a participation trophy. As we were standing in line the lady hosting came in and gave personal attention to who the winners were obviously going to be, and I say this because they placed. She will also never participate in any pinson valley pageants either.

ya'll need to get a life, i personally know who organized and ran the padgent, and i promise she worked harder than ya'll can together! and about yall talkin about how your daughters didn't win anything, its probably because they are ugly!...ever thought about that!

First of all, maybe you need to learn how to spell-- hint, hint--PAGEANT, your only showing your ignorance. Secondly, you really showed your STUPIDITY by saying that maybe our children didn't win b/c they were ugly. It's obvious you know nothing about pageants b/c it's not based on total beauty. In my opinion, no child is ugly. Since you PERSONALLY KNOW this person who organized this pageant please tell her, we're on to her, and to learn how to have a little class. It was so obvious to everyone, that I know, what they did. In 2 of the age groups (that I know of), the queens from last yr won the queen title this yr...GO FIGURE. Do yourself a favor and go educate yourself beyond third grade.

The only thing these so called "ORGANIZERS" worked hard on was making sure the judges knew who was going to place and who was NOT...these "ORGANIZERS" hired judges they knew and then entered their daughters in the pageant for a sure guarantee their child would place!!
Maybe YOU need to get a life and come out from underneath that rock you've been under. Look in the mirror, you'll see the only person who is UGLY!!
