If we are truely christians why hasn't Ms. Miller been able to forgive. Who's cat is worth 25 years of two brothers lives. Come on now. What is rehabilitation? And hell the hole county has to provide her a job as a victim 25 years later when there are qualified applicants here in this county that has been abused mentally by these companies. Walk a day in my shoe, I live with discrimination, abuse, and hell every minute of my life. What a break you get for being white. I know your uncles and they are great men. I definitely feel they were done injustice. So sad.

I consider myself a christian and I will never forgive Kortney Simon for murdering my sister-n-law. There are some actions in this world that are beyond us to forgive. Sometimes it is God's job- there are times when the pain and anger are to much. Same goes for Wanda. Thru our 17 month fight for justice I have had the honor of meeting this incredible woman. She unselfishly reached out to our family and embraced us as we went thru the judicail process of prosecuting the coward that murdered my family member. As far as someone being more qualified for the job- I don't think so. Life experience v.s. a degree on paper- it's a no brainer for me. As far as this being a racial issue- nah... She reached out to the Pruitt family and surprise! We are black! Race bears no issue here. The scumbags who raped and beat this sweet woman are where they should be. I'm sure if there was a question to thier guilt it would have come out in trial- evidentialy there was enough evidence to find them guilty. Stop trying to use the "race" card to excuse- these animals from what they have done. I am glad that they have been held accountable. It's not wrong for the families of the men found guilty to still love them- but it doesn't change the fact that they commited an awful act that they should be held accountable for. It is wrong however to lash out at the victim- she has endured enough. It is very obvious of the kind of environment these criminals were raised in - but that still doesn't excuse this kind of behavior (or language). Wanda- you are continually in my prayers. I praise God for bestowing his favor upon opur family and bringing you into our lives. You are a blessing. Keep God's work going!

You dont know you were not there. what does she have to gain out of lying? your uncles have alot of reasons to lie they did the crime now they doing the time. i am glad they are in there. street is much safer with them off of it.!! God Bless you and I will be praying for you.

wanda didn't put your uncles in prison they put themselfs there. life is full of decisions. your uncles made the wrong choises. and they picked up the wrong person. she is no longer their victom. she is one of my role models. i have met her. i look up to her. the very fact that she can even get out of bed in the morning astounds me. i've been called a lier too. but my abuser, myself and god knows the truth. god will take care of both of us. here on earth and after we die. just as he is taking care of the thugs that raped wanda. the ones that are in prison are in hell. and the ones that didn't get caught are in their own hell outside of prison. god bless wanda. i love you wanda and whenever i feel like i can't take anymore i think of you. keep going. we need you.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Wanda at the annual VOCAL "Victims of Crime and Leniency" presentation honoring victims of homicide.
I was a rape victim at the age of 12 and had no one in my life to help me through the psychological trauma that I had endured.
I would have loved to have someone like Wanda to help hold me up when I felt like falling and to speak for me when I couldn't find the words!
Birmmingham victims are lucky to have Wanda's courage, strength and compassion in their corner.
I say..."Wanda---You Go Girl!"
