I hope you are not still falling down.
Please keep yourself upright, if you know what I mean.
;)
HughBe----No dear, I do NOT take that thing.

Former straight----Where have you been, Sweetie?

HughBe---- Roaming the earth

Former---I hope you are not still falling down.

HughBe--- I fell but I was borne up so that my feet did not strike a rock my bloody head did but not my feet.

Former---Please keep yourself upright, if you know what I mean

HughBe---- When it comes to you it is virtually impossible for me to stay upright. Note, it is not personal it is just a gender thing.

Yes but in the macro sense, in general, many of we liberals want the energy, the air conditioning, etc - but no nukes, no carbon, no fracking......
Where do we think this energy will come from?
Not from wind or solar (or hamsters) for a decades likely.
It all has a cost.
I am not a fan of AC, so you cant loop me in with that part of the argument. All energy has a cost which is why geo-thermal and solar deserve serious consideration. They are far the least impactful.

The problem with fracking isnt the technology per se, its the unregulated sloppiness, and the failure of the govt to require disclosure of the chemicals. Plus its application along fault lines. All of these factors can be mitigated - but are not in the current rush.

HughBe--- I have no problem with going on a happy cruise with Apu providing the poster is a BIOLOGICAL woman. By the way, Frijoles had something else in mind, I believe.

We should be glad there's no fracking here. It's a complete mess. The groundwater, the flames coming out of faucet, the showers that burn your skin, rashes and all the trucks. People in PA have it pretty bad in certain areas.
And god help them if they contaminate that water that comes from the Catskills and provides most of the drinking water for New York City.
Even some "greenies" are starting to reconsider nuclear power. It's the only good answer to climate change right now that I can see...though Japan is going another way now. And maybe France too? And Germany I think.
Is there such a thing as "clean coal" or is that BS? An oxymoron.
Former---Is there such a thing as "clean coal" or is that BS? An oxymoron

Hugh---- Given that it is fiery black it must be clean.

No fan of it either. Have seen all the documentaries.

They've been exempted from the environmental laws.

Big money talks in Congress. Same old story.

But fact is, we need the energy.

Energy independence is a matter of national security.

Carbon fuel and nukes are the only ones that pack the punch for our needs right now and for the foreseeable future;

Take a/c out, doesn't matter.

And try living in FL (or even Philadelphia) without a/c!(Not so bad up here, only a few days per year).

I wasn't sure if you remembered what the ORIGINAL Huggybear looked like.

Do you own a hat like his? You should.

Do you live right in the city of Kingston?

How dangerous a place is it? at night? for a white person?

Former---How dangerous a place is it? at night? for a white person?

HughBe--- We cannibals don't like to eat "whites" at nights so you are very safe.

The truth is as a white you are far safer in Kingston than in your neck of the woods. Take that as gospel.

Note, MOST of the violent crimes are gang related and occur in depressed communities and so typically people are safe.

HughBe--- your YEAH tells me that you prefer being KILLED in your neck of the woods rather than being beaten up. Very STRANGE.

Besides you beat up black people there and we don't.

As I said, MOST of the violent crimes are committed in the inner city and are done by rival gangs.

Let us not lose focus, I am saying that you as a white and a gay man is safer here than in America. However, when you come here, I would not encourage you to seek preys.
