Why would you want to attract deer? Most people I know want to rid themselves of them.
This winter has barely even started...hold on your hat...
We enjoy seeing all the wildlife.

No plans to cuddle up with them.

The worse thing we had was in the last house in PA - a family of
groundhogs/woodchucks lived under the deck the whole time we
were there. They ate a few plants. My father-in-law wanted us to
"get rid of" them but my research revealed no damage to houses caused by
them and my experience was just that. They ran like hell whenever we
crossed paths.

I think it was Tolstoy..."If your reach does not exceed your grasp then what is heaven for?" Or something like that!
Hope all is good in Fairfield County.
No sinkhole issues here recently. Colder and snowier than PA. Saw a small herd of 5 deer moving through the woods behind us - but they've been avoiding the deer lick I put up in droves!
Icy and foggy this morning.
Happy 2014!
rabbee: well the two things wrong here, is deer do not need salt as much in the winter time. and two - have you ever tried to lick, a super cool steel pole?

The concern is deer ticks, and the fact they eat your landscaping, as well as the entire forest understory.

If you think the Messianic Jews have it tough in Israel; thatís nothing compared to the way Hasidic Jews are treated in new York.

But there is no evidence that this was a religious hate attack, and no speculation this was a religious hate attack either. That said, the synagogue comment was not called for (totally irrelevent where the quote was from - do papers attribute quotes to people from Church too?), and the picture obviously makes people uncomfortable.

Of course, in Saudi Arabia -- you can get the death penalty for "preaching" anything except Islam.
Jews don't preach -- we don't go knocking on people's doors and asking them if who they pray to or how they do it.
Most of us find it offensive and impolite.
Jews don't knock on people's doors? Wanna bet? The ones in NYC are very aggressive. No, not Messianic Jews but Lubavitch. Shortly before Hanukkah, there they are at my door, even though there's no mezuzah. Every year, I also used to hear the loud Mitzvah van, but it seems to have stopped or moved on. I don't miss it.

Till now, nature, after millions of years of shuffling and trial and error, has manifested the higher intellectual degree of consciousness in man - her most advanced species till date - which, has, as a result, since the beginning of the industrial revolution in Europe, led to the present age of cutting edge technology and to a thorough investigation into the intricacies of matter. The stupendous progress made over the past century has led many scientists to conclude that by the year 2040 or so death due to senescence of body cells will be eradicated by electrochemical means. Possible.

As seen in the progress of civilization and in the shaping of external nature over millions of years, the terrestrial plane is evolutionary with certain internal and outer pressures creating favorable circumstances for the successive emergences of the indwelling degrees of consciousness in energy field - a phenomenon that we term evolution.

The higher degrees of consciousness in the terrestrial energy field are yet to emerge from a state of involution and may well remain in the dormant state or take another million years to manifest in the earth nature. Evolution in this sense is a slow process with many detours and periods of high instability with partial breakdowns as seen in mass species extinctions that kind of settle down after a new stage of equilibrium is reached and then the struggle to attain to the next higher stage of manifestation of consciousness in the earth nature begins after a time in the relentless evolutionary march towards perfect equilibrium. There's nothing "divine" in these natural phenomena that are a play of the forces of consciousness and energy.

Given the fact that energy, matter and consciousness, which form a unified field, are the only realities in the whole of existence, we can conclude with full confidence without fear of being contradicted that the word "divine" could only mean a subtler degree of vibration of conscious-energy field, while the absolute, the unified field, is beyond this so-called "divine" state and is in fact its origin. This absolute is the source of the whole of existence. LMAO.

I get it.

It's an assumed risk.

They seemed to show just as often pre and post deer lick placement.

No evidence they've even noticed it.

There have been predictions about 2014/2015 being the year of serious global calamities leading to mass destruction and the establishment of a new era. If at all there be an outbreak of hostilities or an economic crash or freak weather, it will be manmade - everything will be executed by the globalists who have the monetary, political and scientific means to engineer global chaos to fit in with certain scriptural prophecies which would make the naive sections of the world's population believe that the prophesies in the scriptures are being fulfilled in accordance with some "divine will" (?) when actually it's just a set of ruthless individuals called the globalists, who, after studying all the scriptural prophecies, willfully engineer a few calamities to make it appear that a number of scriptural prophecies are being fulfilled. LOL.

The scriptural prophecies are useless and can never turn out true unless a group of cunning and powerful people deliberately stage a certain event to make it appear that a certain book prophecy is being or has been fulfilled.

The answer is in your question - the difference between weather and climate.

Put on your thinking cap.

The globalists have been staging world events of far reaching magnitude for long and can well install a world leader as the chosen "messiah" after they engineer a global manmade catastrophe like say WW 3. LOL. Personally, I don't think they'll stage WW 3 after staging WW1 and WW 2.

The aim of the globalists is to mind control the world's population so that their insatiable thirst for money, power and control gets fulled to a greater extent.

What?

The difference between weather and climate is a measure of time.

Weather refers to conditions of the atmosphere over a short period of time, and climate is how the atmosphere "behaves" over relatively long periods of time.

I typed the word "weather" in my post and so I am correct.

I was referring to this winter precisely and not to any long term manifestation of change in temperature conditions in the world but perhaps a transition is underway as part of a natural geochemical cycle or it could be as Voluntarist would say "weather warfare courtesy Haarp".
