Update: High School AP History Book
Rewrites 2nd Amendment

Textbook version: "The people have a right to keep and bear arms in
a state militia."
Actual 2nd Amendment: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to
the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear
Arms, shall not be infringed."
Did you catch the sleight of hand?
A militia is a body of citizens enrolled for military service, and called
out periodically for drill but serving full time only in emergencies. It's
a common man army of citizens, NOT soldiers. The citizens are called
up in emergencies to protect the free State.
The 2nd Amendment says that a militia is necessary to protect a free
State, so in order to be able to have a militia, the citizens have a
natural right to keep and bear arms and the government cannot
infringe on that right.
The textbook version implies that we're only allowed to keep and bear
arms if we're in a State militia, a clear misrepresentation of the 2nd
Amendment.

Death not for "insulting"....but by lampooning and abusing and making fun of the Prophet and Messenger of God.
And we would "love" if the same law was made for lampooning, abusing and making fun of Other prophets of God, like Moses and Jesus.
People should know the limits to which they can go in these matters.
Really? Then our Muslim friends on the "Who is Allah" thread should all be put to death for their treatment of Jesus? BMW, Alex, YOU? The Christian world should put out an edict that the 3 of you should be found and sentenced to death? We know where to find you. You have allowed your whereabouts to be known. Should the Christians come knocking on your door?

Oh wait. I guess not. The Christians have a saying. Turn the other cheek. Maybe the Christians are wrong. Maybe you should be afraid of a knock on the door.

lampooning, abusing, making fun? Thats not insulting?

ignoring that obvious foolishness

We should give you extremists Australia and be done with it. Obviously you are not fit to interact with the rest of the world, the ones that are not hopping around in loin cloths trying to kill each other in the name of your prophet with a Koran tucked under their bellies.

Who the hell are you to set the limits anyhow.

How interesting you accidentally stumbled onto a truth.
People SHOULD know the limits to which they can go and advocating death for satire is clearly far beyond the limits of any civilised society.
When you realise that, there might be hope for you.
P.S. When you see a woman driving a car, does it just drive you nuts?
People should know that Satire also has a limit...

Do not hurt others and you will not be hurt is a universal truth.

People who lampoon and make fun of the Prophets of God should get the same treatment, I doubt if any Muslim will go to the limit to abuse or lampoon the personal character of Prophets of God.

"Turn the other cheek" is only a "catch phase to catch fish"... and it has no real value.

Why they did not turn the "Other Cheek" on 9/11?

On the other hand, Yes they turned the other Cheek, they offered both WTC-1 and WTC-2 and as a Bonus WTC-7, that was too much!!

We are in the world for 1400 years and growing every day.

And do not think that we did not rule over you!!

If you want to live in peace, you will have to learn some manners.

We have manners and we do not make fun of prophets of God and religious personalities of other religions.

We give respect and demand equal respect from other side too.

It is the best and most civilized way , not yours, where every one spits out whatever comes to their mind, not knowing about whom they are talking.

01. And you have the gall to blame the western media for misrepresenting Islam and showing it in a negative light. You're doing a fine job on your own.

02. Great way to show your restraint. You're doing a fine job convincing us that Islam is the "Religion of Peace".
Ans.

01. If telling truth is called misrepresenting Islam, then I am proud to be doing a good job.

Western Media does misrepresent Islam, because they add their "Own views" along side Islamic teachings. They should allow Muslims to answer any queries and comments.

02. To ask for death penalty for some one who has lampooned and abused and made fun of prophet of God, does nothing against Islam being "religion of peace".

Peace comes with some price and one of that is that you show restraint when talking on these matters and control your tongue.

Come on Moizes. You've read and participated in the baiting of the Christians on the "Who is Allah" thread. You've seen the degree that the Muslim posters have demeaned "Biblical Jesus". The Christians should have every right to have you all put to death under your theory.

Thomas Aquinas says that [if] we compare murder and
blasphemy as regards the objects of those sins, it is clear that
blasphemy, which is a sin committed directly against God, is more
grave than murder, which is a sin against one's neighbor. On the
other hand, if we compare them in respect of the harm wrought by
them, murder is the graver sin, for murder does more harm to one's
neighbor, than blasphemy does to God.[14]

Hypocrite!

In the third book of the Torah , Leviticus 24:16 states that he that
blasphemes the name of the LORD "shall surely be put to death".
See also List of capital crimes in the Torah. The Seven laws of Noah,
which Judaism sees as applicable to all people, prohibit blasphemy.
