JAPAN - PERSONIFICATION OF EXCELLENCE:

I find the South Korean students the best in high school and university math. They're simply amazing. I've met a few South Korean students and was highly impressed with their math abilities. Simply amazing where speed and efficiency are concerned. I think a team of 6 high schoolers from South Korea lifted 6 gold medals and ranked first at IMO 2012.

But, the nation that commands the most respect from me is Japan.

This seimically unstable archipelago of a nation has few natural resources but is very rich in intelligence and creativity.

Japan has been devasted by atomic bombings but unlike the Jews don't cry, whine and seek special laws to protect them.

Japan has risen from the ashes of mass destruction of WW2 in phoenix-like fashion.

Truly commendable!

Every disaster is a stepping stone to success for this tiny nation with a giant brain and nerves of steel.

The Japs are at the forefront in critical areas of pure science and tech and their cities are architectural and technological marvels.

Rampant prosperity, profound discipline, super intelligence, high creativity and superb aesthetics define this great nation.

Wow! What a nation !!!

IRONY ABOUT GENES:
1) Ironically, the science of genetics that's hailed as an end all and a be all to explain every facet of a living system by scientists is highly incomplete as it offers no clear-cut genetic mechanisms where emotional and psychological traits are concerned.
2) Physical traits can be explained using genes as the causative factors.
3) Logically speaking, the psychological, emotional and physical traits of ancestors via our immediate parents get transmitted into zygote but while physical characteristics can be traced to chemical units called genes no one has any idea about emotional and psychological transferences from parents to offspring.
4) Where are the genes for intelligence, hatred, love, nurturing instinct, sense of responsibility and other sentient traits?
5) Besides, science has no clue regarding the impact of sentient factors like emotional and mental states on matter (body) though emotions/mind states can be altered within limits by drugs and em fields. This is on account of the close interactions between emotional and mental states with matter.
So, we can logically surmise that emotional and psychologicalL traits exceed chemical configurations but are causally linked to the genes as inhering and at times influencing factors in view of the close nexus between mind-matter.
LOL.

LOW QUALITY OF AMERICAN GRADS:
FRIJOLES, COR, FORMER, RABBEE and other Americans here can hardly be called intelligent nor do they have a sound grasp on the fundamentals of math/science which is expected with these posters evidently having achieved advanced degrees in scientific disciplines from third rate colleges or universities.
Leaving these born dunces aside, I am always amazed to discover that most American students even from their best universities fail to understand basic concepts in math and science and are mere talkers than problem solvers - using language they try to explain math/science questions but when it comes to pinning down the problem in equations and formula they're at a dead end and even where their verbal explanations are concerned they show a terrible lack of understanding of fundamental concepts accompanied by the supported math.
Most of their professors are the same.
I've met several such low quality American students/profs during my student days at IIT and during trips abroad and am always shocked at their pathetic understanding of key concepts and poor math skills.
rabbee: being possessed by knowledge, is by no means an insurance of sanity. and comparing those involved, in differing areas of expertise. is like comparing, apples to rocks.

and only the self proclaimed intellectual village idiot, would dare attempt such a comparison. i am certain that in their own fields of expertise. they can outshine any of us, in their own specialized selective field of endeavor.

even when a scientific task teams, are put together. you generally choose, a spectrum of expertise in order to accomplish the task. you can have material scientists, optical engineers, instrumentation engineers, theoretical scientists, physicists, nuclear scientists, safety engineers, precision machinists, quality control specialists, even legal consultants, and even quite possibly security personnel, and many other in specialized fields. since the knowledge base is so broad today, it is near impossible for anyone person to know it all.

scientific research, is very seldom done by just one person. especially where there could be, any danger or security involved. increasing the complexity, of the work involved.

Psychiatrists? I thought we were talking about the mental health profession?
A mental health professional is a health care practitioner who offers services for the purpose of improving an individual's mental health or to treat mental illness. This broad category includes psychiatrists (D.O. or M.D.), clinical psychologists (Psy.D or Ph.D.), clinical social workers (MSW or MSSW), psychiatric nurses, mental health counselors, professional counselors, pharmacists, as well as many other professionals. These professionals often deal with the same illnesses, disorders, conditions, and issues; however, their scope of practice differs. The most significant difference between mental health professionals are the laws regarding required education and training across the various professions.[1]https://en.wiki pedia.org/wiki/Mental_health_p rofessional
And what do you have against ducks?
The people who determine which "mental disorders" to include in the dsm manual are compromised mostly of psychiatrists, true or false?

rabbee: yes a am sure, that the world committing genocide for the third time. always feel they have no need, for G-D or me. because you feel your doing, so much better with the devil.

suicide prevention, begins long before the person decides to stand on the edge of a cliff. and you cannot prevent more crime and corruption, with more G-Dlessness. the world has been trying that, for about 5700 years again. and guess what, it still don't work. as the further you get, from TheTruth of G-D, the worse it gets.

the united states, is in worse shape now. because of their establishment, of the secular occult religion. than it even was under, the corrupt form of christianity. even the cancer plague rates, has dramatically spiked as a result of this. from one in 50000, to about one in ten.

instead of winning wars, we are now in the, perpetual state of continuously losing them in stagnation. and you think, we need more G-Dless secularism to correct this. taint never going, to happen that way. as you can think that, the water swirling around in your toilet won't go down or over flow.

as you cannot fix the symptoms of G-Dlessness with more G-Dlessness. you cannot use the same kind of aniG-D thinking, that got you into this demonic situation to get you out. you can only make it, worse and worse that way. as i already know the ending of this story, for the world that just keeps doing it that way. as your flooding of antiG-D corruption, shall meet with the flood again. and you are all, held accountable for that murder/suicide.

Alfred Kinsey's and colleagues' study on male and female sexuality marked the beginning of a cultural shift away from the view of homosexuality as pathology and toward viewing it as a normal variant of human sexuality.

Kinsey had criticized scientists' tendency to represent homosexuals and heterosexuals as "inherently different types of individuals."

Therefore, he introduced a 0 to 6 scale to classify sexual behavior or fantasy from "exclusively heterosexual" to "exclusively homosexual" (the "Kinsey Scale"). The "Kinsey Reports" found that 37% of males and 13% of females had at least some overt homosexual experience to the point of orgasm; furthermore, 10% of males were more or less exclusively homosexual and 8% of males were exclusively homosexual for at least three years between the ages of 16 and 55. This is where the frequently quoted "10%" figure comes from. 2-6% of women reported more or less exclusively homosexual experience or response. A more modest 4% of males and 1-3% of females had been exclusively homosexual after the onset of adolescence until the time of the interview.

"Males do not represent two discrete populations, heterosexual and homosexual. The world is not to be divided into sheep and goats. It is a fundamental of taxonomy that nature rarely deals with discrete categories... The living world is a continuum in each and every one of its aspects." (Kinsey, et al. 1948 Sexual Behavior in the Human Male (1948), p. 639).

0- Exclusively heterosexual with no homosexual
1- Predominantly heterosexual, only incidentally homosexual
2- Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual
3- Equally heterosexual and homosexual
4- Predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual
5- Predominantly homosexual, only incidentally heterosexual
6- Exclusively homosexual
(Kinsey 1948), p. 638
