So, institutional racism does not count in your book. It's ok if all of the Black former slaves are discriminated against.
rabbee: well i am sure, that G-D had the usual really good reason. for commanding, the elslavement of any peoples. and it is most definatly, not because of their alleged race.

Do you think it's ok that the fourth amendment be violated as long as they violate everyone's privacy?
you have to be more specific. The phrase is unreasonable searches and seizures.

Nice attorning there, and checkpoints have been ruled reasonable as long as they stop everyone.

Proof that the government is using the bombing to clamp down on civil liberties.

Every arrest without a warrant is presumptively unreasonable.

and your point is? The constitution not only contains the 4th amendment but also the 3d article. We are a nation of laws. Someone has to decide in times of dispute what is reasonable. That decision was made by those who are charged with that chore under the 3d article.

so a crime committed in front of the officer shouldn't result in arrest. The officer should let the perpetrator go and get a warrant and then find the perpetrator again?

You would have to show me the article.

But dont bother - because all it will do is move the conversation over to what is considered a reasonable action vs a clamping down of civil liberties - and I doubt you and I will ever agree on that.

No that would be an exception to the warrant requirement, but once the alleged perpetrator is detained the arresting officer has a duty to present the accused before proper authority.

For authority to hold.

So, it's the grand jury or the probable cause hearing. Nothing new here.

A probable cause determination by a neutral magistrate.

An arrest without a warrant is presumably unlawful unless there is that determination by a magistrate.

So does an officer have authority to make a warrantless arrest, yes but it is not presumed lawful.

The same should hold for a warrantless search but politicians in dresses claim that this RIGHT can be abridged as long everyone is searched.
So how is that any different in principle than institutionalized discrimination?

I dont get any link with that with anything going on now. Noone except Volunteerist is claiming additional government control due to the recent bombing.
That is a false statement, I am not the only one.

Commuters said they welcomed the additional security in
the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings. The
Metropolitan Transportation Authority is increasing patrol
coverage and bag inspections on Metro-North and Long
Island railroads as a result of the attack, Aaron Donovan,
an MTA spokesman said.

Like I just said, what some might see as logical and legally sound responses, others might see as infringements to civil liberties. Nothing new there.

I see nothing alarmist in that article, nothing that hasnt been done before, nothing that is an expansion past reasonable

Obviously you disagree. Which tells me that your beef is not with the response, which is logical, but with legality of the paradigm which has been in place BEFORE the bombing.

So stop citing the bombing, its a red herring to your argument.

As for your real argument, I dont buy into it, obviously.

----------

" Security at rail stations and on board Metro-North commuter trains was visibly heightened Tuesday, as bomb-sniffing dogs, along with local, federal and transit authorities, patrolled platforms and rode rail cars.

Commuters said they welcomed the additional security in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority is increasing patrol coverage and bag inspections on Metro-North and Long Island railroads as a result of the attack, Aaron Donovan, an MTA spokesman said.

"The increased coverage will continue until we fully understand the cause of the explosions in Boston..."

"......"The MTA police often do random bag inspections and platform sweeps but today more so," Anders said. "It is obviously an exercise, a show of force intended to both reassure customers and intimidate bad guys."

The OT itself says that a Prophet like Moses shall arise amongst the "brethren of Israel"....and you are making all these idiotic comments.

What do you say about mistakes, discrepancies and mistakes in OT books, who did it? God?
