So for a billioniare, it would be the size of his bank account?
So again, because I cannot fully explain the origin of the universe, this means that your particular explanation is the correct one?
You make no sense.
And you still have no evidence to support your beliefs.

"....Israeli officials were quoted Monday morning saying that the European decision to summon ambassadors to be scolded over Israeli building in the West Bank was an attempt to intervene in Israeli politics.
The officials suggested that the Europeans were trying to harm Netanyahu politically ahead of the January 22 election and help former foreign minister Tzipi Livni's new party.
If that was their intention, they clearly do not understand Israeli politics.
Had Netanyahu gone against the world to take a step seen as controversial in the eyes of the Israeli public, perhaps it could have harmed him politically. Israeli prime ministers have been punished in the past for thumbing their nose at the international community.
But building in settlement blocs and planning to develop the area between Jerusalem and Ma'ale Adumim is as consensus as it gets.....

So Mr Hoffman is basically saying world opinion isn't really world opinion.
Interesting point of view.
Do you agree there is widespread support for the settlements? Internally that is?
#44767 Dec 3, 2012
Honestly, I couldnt say.
What I can say is the REAL Israeli left, post last two Gaza conflicts- doesnt really exist (i.e. only a small amount of support internally for their policies). Livni is no leftist - she is a centrist.(to make it confusing the Israeli parties of the left are not really left anymore- I mean the actual left).
And I know, from my own travels there that some of what we call settlements are often suburbs that arent going anywhere - especially in the Jerusalem environs. Out in the middle of the west bank is a different story - some of them are actually outposts. While others are small towns.
So, it wouldnt suprise me if a lot of Israelis figure that this area under question was fated for Israel anyhow.
I agree that world opinion does have an effect - evidence the UN vote. So I cant predict how this would play out, except to note at the end of the day everyones attention will be back to Syria and Egypt, as usual. And there is a fair likelihood that Israel will launch a preemptive strike on the Syrian chem weapon stockpile. All of this may take the pressure off of Israel regarding the "settlements".

Operators of small businesses are going
to be cutting full time employees
throughout 2013 to under 50, to stay
under the Obamacare tax.
Here’s the thinking of one small business
Here is what I am doing for the rest of
the year — working with every manager
in my company so that as of January 1,
2013, none of our employees are working
more than 28 hours a week. I think
most readers know the reason — we
have got to get our company under 50
full time employees or else I am facing a
bill from Obamacare in 2014 that will be
several times larger than my annual
profit. I love my workers. They make
me a success. But most of my
competitors are small businesses that are
exempt from the Obamacare hammer. To
compete, I must make sure my company
is exempt as well. This means that our
400+ full time employees will have to be
less than 50 in 2013, so that when the
Feds look at me at the start of 2014, I am
exempt. We will have more employees
working fewer hours, with more training
costs, but the Obamacare bill looks like
about $800,000 a year for us, at least, and
I am pretty sure the cost of more training
will be less than that.
This will be unpopular but tolerable to
most of my employees. The vast majority
of them are retired and our company is
merely an excuse to stay busy, work
outdoors, and get a little extra money.
But this is going to be an ENORMOUS
change in the rest of the service sector. I
have talked to a lot of owners of
restaurants and restaurant chains, and
the 40-hour work week is a thing of the
past in that business. One of my
employees said that in Hawaii, it was all
the hotel employees could talk about.
Many chains are working on mutli-team
systems where two teams of people
working part-time replace the former
group of full-time employees. 2013 is
going to see a lot of people (who are not
paid very well to begin with) getting their
hours and pay cut by 25%. At the same
time that they are required, likely for the
first time since many are relatively
young, to purchase health insurance.
It is really going to get crazy, as the
owner above speculates:
It will be interesting to see what
solutions emerge. My bet is that it will
become standard for people in the
service sector to work two different jobs
for 20-25 hours each with two different
companies. This will be a pain for them,
but allow them to keep their income up.
The hard part may be coordinating shifts
between companies. For example, a
company that divides their shifts into
mon-tue-wed vs. thu-fri-sat cannot share
employees with one who divides their
shifts between morning and afternoon.
If given time, I would guess that just as
the mon-fri workweek emerged as a
standard, companies may adopt standard
ways of dividing up the work weeks for
part-timers, making it easier for
schedules to mesh.

As per Islamic teachings, Muslims are ONE nation, irrespective of where they live.
The same way you have "all the sympathies" with Jews of Israel, even if you do not live there.

Geithner: Raise U.S. debt limit to
(NaturalNews) The elaborate Ponzi scheme officially known as
the U.S. financial system is set to completely transform into a
Monopoly-style fantasy economy where money and debt are both
meaningless and limitless. U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy
Geithner has actually come out with a proposal that the
American debt ceiling be completely eliminated, allowing the
crooks that run the federal government to print as much phony
debt currency as their hearts desire, and spend away into
During a recent interview on Bloomberg TV, Geithner told
Political Capital's Al Hunt that the Congressionally-established
debt ceiling, which was specifically designed to establish
reasonable limits on the amount of money the federal
government can borrow, should be completely abolished. Even
though Congress is the only entity that can make such a decision,
Geithner expressed his belief that the limit be scrapped to avoid
its being used as "a tool for political advantage."
"It would have been time a long time ago to eliminate it," said a
nervous Geithner to Hunt, after being asked when he believed
the debt ceiling should be eliminated. "The sooner the better."
The so-called debt ceiling is virtually meaningless anyway, as
Congress has already voted dozens of times in years past to raise
it every time the national debt approaches a breach. But a
permanent lifting of any sort of debt ceiling will officially seal the
deal, and drive the last nail in the coffin for the American
economy, which is today built solely on debt rather than actual
Geithner proposal part of 'Cloward-Piven'
strategy to collapse national economy
Geithner's suggestion also seems to follow the playbook of the
infamous Cloward-Piven strategy to the tee, which is built on the
idea of intentionally crashing the existing U.S. economy for the
purpose of rebuilding it in the image of socialist ideals. Part of
this strategy includes deliberately destroying the nation's
currency by accumulating large amounts of unsustainable debt ,
none of which can ever truly be paid off and settled.
"The [Cloward-Piven strategy] taught that if you flooded the
welfare rolls and bankrupted the cities and ultimately the nation,
it would foster economic collapse, which would lead to political
turmoil so severe that socialism would be accepted as a fix to an
out-of-control set of circumstances," wrote Jeannie DeAngelis for
American Thinker about this malevolent agenda.
"Combine class warfare, demonizing the rich, getting as many
people onto the welfare rolls as possible, and pushing the
economic system to collapse and you have a flawless formula for
This appears to be the precise strategy behind eliminating the
debt ceiling, as federal government controllers would truly have a
limitless bank account from which to continue swelling the
welfare state and spending the nation into complete collapse.
And once the system eventually collapses in on itself, as planned,
the masses will be begging for their own enslavement in the form
of full nanny state provisions and complete government tyranny.

Last time I checked, the Palestinian Authority was not a muslim nation or a refuge for all muslims. Their authenticity was based upon the refugee crisis, not religious pilgrimage. Perhaps that is part of the problem there. Confused goals.
Are Muslims a people? What are your rules of descent? Your initiation rites? I think of Islam as a expanding world religion, like Christianity, without the trappings of a people with a historical ethnicity.

An attack on Syria (or Iran for that matter) would certainly distract attention from the settlements.
Do you ever see peace in the area, in our lifetimes or beyond?
That alone might keep me from ever wanting to live over there.
Plus the heat.
