I was thinking, "Who the hell cares about Benghazi right now?"
And then I read this, and now I understand why you are obsessed with this issue.
It isn't really your fault.
Simple solution: Stop watching Fox News!
Carry on.
__________
Fox News Focuses On Benghazi Attack While Largely Ignoring Hurricane Sandy
No, it's not my fault. It's the fault of my father, brothers, nephews, uncles, cousins, classmates and friends who serve or served in the military. I'm from that generation of draft-dodgers and people who spit on those returning from Vietnam - those who hid out in college or Canada - and I repudiate them and all those milktoast cowards who cut and run. I don't have a problem with deferrments - not everyone is suited to the military, but don't spit on our military.

And don't sit in the White House, watch the action and go to bed to be well rested for a campaign fundraiser in Vegas. Do your job man - for once. The guy is basically out of his league, clueless, and a narcissist.

Anyone who serves in the military....AND fights far from home is FOOLISH. Iraq was a disaster, 1.5 trillion dollars on credit. We lost Vietnam after killing 4 million Vietnamese......How can any soldier (NOT HERO) be proud of that?? We are a sick war obsessed nation who spends more on our military than the whole world combined. We forgot our greatest resource...Americans......

stupid democrats! have always expected, someone else to do it all for them. if it was not for the macabees, they might still be under pagan greek rule. oh! wait a minute, i think they sill are under pagan rule. cause they still do not, really believe in HaShem G-D.

rabbee: sorry but you do not have a choice, should G-D command you to go to war. it's going to happen, whether your for or against it. and we lost the war, due to our waining disbelief in G-D. and is why the war, was commanded to happen should the woman chaooah not do. any thing that physically happens, is commanded by G-D. we are only in charge, of our mental happening. and our mental attitude toward G-D, determins what HE commands to physically happen. you have no idea, of the awesome power of G-D. you spent too much of your life, denying it here in TheHappening.

every breath i take, and every step i take has already been commaded by G-D. i could not deny this, any longer than i already did. with my life story already foretold, to happen here in TheStory of Creation again. with all of you and your grandmother of all, actually here in TheTorah. i have already been through this same story, with all of you and your grandmother twice before this time here in IT.

rabbee: nope! wrong again, lizard breath. obviously fate can be chanbged, from getting hell from G-D or not getting hell from G-D. but as long as you make all, the exact same insane mental errors. only then shall you suffer the same physical fate.

i have stood, in the presence of G-D. and have been told, my fate and the fate of this world. only because you all, mentally follow the beast. hsd you not of done this, we would have been in GanEden now today. the only way to change fate, is to change your mental corruption to less than now. for there is one fate, for every given set of mental errors.

i have stood in ThePresence of G-D, three times in 68 years. how can i not believe in G-D. i believe that once G-D tells a life story, it is going to happen exactly the way G-D said it. and TheTorah tells TheStory of this world, refusing to believe in G-D. because you refuse to believe in TheG-D of TheStory of Creation here in IT.

and what i get from G-D directly, does not come from any beliefs in this world. so don't accuse me, with your hypocrite disbelief in G-D yourself. and G-D shall keep, THEIR Promse to place me and my appointed mate in charge of everything here in TheTorah again.

so do not try to change or worry about, the things that cannot be changed. but you had better worry, only about that which can be changed. but always near the end, finally here am i again. just like it says, in TheWritten Torah. and so it, is. and your mental enmity against G-D, is your own downfall with the beast.

Part of the issue is that the prices are very variable, once you take into account installation, permits, and demand. I have heard quotes from 5 to 25k.
5K wouldn't do a big house with central air - the generator alone is 7500 at least plus install etc

i checked load calculations too

I would think common decency would dictate getting the dead people and animals taken care of before having a marathon. Bloomberg has a serious emotional disconnect - at least he caved on this ludicrous idea (probably for the wrong reasons.)
he said rudy went ahead with the marathon after 9/11 and he thought that showed spirit

two different events

sandy has caused widespread physical suffering that persists and will continue

too soon for this one - people still have unmet basic needs

You're the clueless one.

The Vietnam vet being spit on is a myth. It never happened.

Stop all the "my country right or wrong" BS. "Apology tour."

Are you saying our country has never done anything wrong? Never started an unecessary war that accomplished absolutely zero? Got young people killed for no reason whatsoever?(Think Iraq; Vietnam)

Have we never dictated to the world? Acted in an arrogant, imperilaistic manner? Backed the wrong guy? Only to regret it later?

I sure as hell would not have wanted to serve in Vietnam. Go over there and die for what reason?

I applaud the poor bastards who did and I salute them. But I sure as hell don't envy them.

Support the warrior. Don't blindly, mindlessly support the war.

W said he would not play golf while troops were in Iraq.

Well, I've told you before - but I'll tell you again. Thank you for your service to OUR country.

If, heaven forbid, we were involved in a firefight, I'd rather have you and other ex-military alongside, than the combined experience of Obama-Clinton-Panetta, the clueless triad cowering in a corner.

I agree with your assessment of the difference. Not sure that a marathon is a proper response to either situation. My first reaction to both marathons is that the mayor(s)(D/R) considered the economic impact to business, hotels, restaurants, etc. first.
