ROMNEY: Thank you. An important topic, and one which I learned a great deal about, particularly as I was serving as governor of my state, because I had the chance to pull together a cabinet and all the applicants seemed to be men.

And I -- and I went to my staff, and I said, "How come all the people for these jobs are -- are all men." They said, "Well, these are the people that have the qualifications." And I said, "Well, gosh, can't we -- can't we find some -- some women that are also qualified?"

And -- and so we -- we took a concerted effort to go out and find women who had backgrounds that could be qualified to become members of our cabinet.

I went to a number of women's groups and said, "Can you help us find folks," and they brought us whole binders full of women...."

"Not a true story.

What actually happened was that in 2002 -- prior to the election, not even knowing yet whether it would be a Republican or Democratic administration -- a bipartisan group of women in Massachusetts formed MassGAP to address the problem of few women in senior leadership positions in state government. There were more than 40 organizations involved with the Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus (also bipartisan) as the lead sponsor.

They did the research and put together the binder full of women qualified for all the different cabinet positions, agency heads, and authorities and commissions. They presented this binder to Governor Romney when he was elected.

I have written about this before, in various contexts; tonight I've checked with several people directly involved in the MassGAP effort who confirm that this history as I've just presented it is correct -- and that Romney's claim tonight, that he asked for such a study, is false...:"

The empty pews and the latest polls tell a different story. I predict that trend will continue, with one serious unknown, which is the reaction of the older more loyal generation. I foresee the indoctrination of children by this older generation getting tougher as they get more desperate. I'm noticing the fanatics getting more fanatical (just like the GOPs). Attitudes of Christians towards abortion
Catholics
A majority of U.S. and Australian Catholics hold different views that differ from the official doctrine of their church. In a 1995 survey, 64% of U.S. Catholics say they disapprove of the statement that "abortion is morally wrong in every case".[39] A 2008 survey found that 65% of American Catholics identified themselves as "pro-choice" but also found that 76% of these "pro-choice" Catholics believed that abortion should be significantly restricted.[67] Some 58% of American Catholic women feel that they do not have to follow the abortion teaching of their bishop.[68] Only 22% of U.S. Catholics agree with their church that abortion should be illegal in all cases.[69]
A 1996 survey found that 72% of Australian Catholics say that the decision to have an abortion "should be left to individual women and their doctors."[39]
Protestants
According to a 2002 survey conducted by the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research, fundamentalist Christians are more likely to be pro-life than all other respondents, including mainline Protestants. Twenty-eight percent of fundamentalists thought abortion should be illegal even if there was a strong chance of birth defects whereas only nine percent of mainline Protestants held the same opinion. Seventy percent of fundamentalists felt that the desire not to have more children was not a sufficient justification for having an abortion while mainline Protestants were almost evenly divided on this question. However, an overwhelming majority of both fundamentalists and mainline Protestants indicated that they would support abortion in cases where the pregnancy endangered the mother's life.[70]

The next dabate is all about foreign affairs.
I wonder whether a gagging order will be imposed on Romney. He's capable of blurting out state-secrets.

I had to look the person up. Since not even in the sixties did any women endorse free sex. never in history in fact. It is merely the wet dream of men.

quote:
The Rush Limbaugh–Sandra Fluke controversy (pronunciation:/flʊk/ ) began on February 29, 2012, when American conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh's remarks about contraceptive mandates included statements concerning Georgetown University Law Center student Sandra Fluke as a "slut" and "prostitute". Limbaugh was commenting on Fluke's speech the previous week to House Democrats in support of mandating insurance coverage for contraceptives. Despite disapproval from major political figures, Limbaugh made numerous similar statements over the next two days, leading to the loss of several national sponsors and Limbaugh's apology on his show for some of his comments. Fluke rejected the apology as dubious and inadequate.[1][2][3][4][5]

1. Creator Granted Rights: Since you have no objective proof for a Creator nor his alleged will, your base assumption is unverifiable and nullifies the rest of your assertions.

2. Men Paying for Women: This is a circular argument. According to you, women aren't supposed to work outside of the home, therefore, there is no choice but for men to pay for them. And by men paying for them, this is somehow proof that they should not work? You're not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you MUQ?

3. Degradation of Family Structure: You've made this assertion before, but when asked for objective data to back up this claim, you failed. Anecdotal tales are not objective evidence. Would you like to try again?
Ans.

01. In fact we are the ONLY one with proof!! It is you people who are taking only based on assumption. We have statements right from the Creator Himself what could be a Greater proof?

And if any one who thinks that our Book is not from God, there is an open challenge for all humans to bring a book like it, ten chapter like tr or even one chapter like it.

02. Men paying for women: It is not a circular argument. It is reality. I ask you to bring statistics from your own society how much money women spent on men and how much money men spent on women.

Forget about our backward society, just talk about modern civilized societies like yours!!

3. Break up of family structure:

Again you should check your own statistics before writing anything.

The number of Children born out of wedlock is more than the numbers that are born in wedlock….does it shows your family structure is getting strengthened?

The number of single parents is on the rise year by year….is that sign the family bond is increasing?

The cases of suicides, mental illness, rapes, kidnappings, incest, domestic violence, child abuse, are all on the rise, does it shows that family structure is increasing.

And the "death knell" is granting these Sodomites and Lesbians the status of "Normal marriage".

Yes now you can say that your "family ties" are getting stronger and stronger. Who has got power to break a Sodomite and Lesbian relationship?

And the best part is that you people think that you are on the road to progress and Freedom!!

1. A book of ancient myths is not proof. Stories passed down from generation to generation are not proof. Number of adherents, regardless of how zealous they are about their faith, is not proof of any underlying truths. You do not have proof. You have faith which is belief WITHOUT evidence.

2. I can think of far more books of mythology better written than the Quran: Beowulf, The Odyssey, The Iliad just to name a few.

3. You are engaging in strawmen arguments with regards to single parenting statistics. Putting aside the fact that you make statements of statistics without any corroborating references to statistical studies or without demonstrating causation over correlation, the discussion was about the empowerment of women to make their own decisions about what their life's roles are, and not having men dictate it to them. The fact is, successful, modern societies DO empower women to make their own decisions or in equal collaboration with their husbands. Unsuccessful, antiquated societies DO NOT.

4. Finally, why do you keep saying "you people"? I think and speak for myself. If you are going to respond to my posts, you should address me directly and stop worrying about what other people have to say.

I think it's so wonderful that messianic christianity is enabling confused christians to get out of christianity and realize they've been working off of mistranslated and misinterpreted Hebrew texts which is called the Old Testament.

Security practices at the diplomatic compound, where Blue Mountain guards patrolled with flashlights and batons instead of guns

"I don't have a background in security, I've never held a gun in my life," he said, speaking on condition of anonymity out of fear for his safety.

When hired, the commander said he was told "you have great English and get along with everyone and are punctual; we want you to be a guard commander.

The unarmed guards were told to sound the alarm over the radio and then run for cover if there was an attack, a Libyan who acted as a supervisor for the Blue Mountain local guard team at the mission said during an interview with Reuters.

Romney Boys Can’t Contain Their Obama Debate Anger
http://www.slate.com/blogs/trending/2012/10/1...

The exchanges weren’t the only things getting heated at Tuesday night’s presidential debate. Two of Mitt Romney’s sons got a little hot under the collar watching their dad spar with the president.

Asked on a radio how he felt when Obama called his dad a liar, Romney’s eldest son Tagg said he wanted to “rush down to the stage and take a swing at him.” Tagg also took issue with the president’s campaign trying “to do everything they can to turn my dad into someone he’s not,” which seems like a tall order considering Romney himself has a habit of shifting where he stands.

The Romney sons’ aggression didn’t stop there: Tagg’s brother, Josh, was seen giving the president a death stare during the debate, and that spawned a mini-meme. Menacing maybe, but hardly enough for the Secret Service to get involved.
