There is more to this story than is being said. Victor Sandoval is not a mean kid. What started the dispute in the first place?

This guy is not a "kid" he is a full-grown adult and he is obviously also a killer! Your comments are ridiculous.

Anybody can kill if pushed far enough. The question stands, what pushed Sandoval?

What pushed Sandoval? Maybe he finally realized that he was living in Santa Clara? I don't know? But seriously, this guy should have walked away from the situation.

Right, if I'm paying for it. What makes YOUR rights/needs more important than others simply because they reside in a rural area? You have a very limited memory -- there are three currently unsolved homicides that occurred in "The middle of nowhere where only the rabbits and deer..." are! Santa Clara PD seems well-funded to work traffic on the highway, but conveniently are out-of-service otherwise. I guess those who live in the county should just shut up and pay out with no questions asked when THEY need a cop. By the way, I believe Mimbres' population outnumbers that of Santa Clara (and maybe Hurley combined).
The rights of the Tim Edwards Family, The Rachael Sierra Family and the Joey Moreno Family were violated. Should they expect to sit back and shut up as you might suggest?
Moron, did I say your needs are more important than mine?
Ok, wow...Everyone stand back. Mimbres is bigger then Hurley and Santa Clara....Because Bayard, Arenas Valley, North Hurley don't have people in them according to you?

It's more likely they're using your "rabbit and deer" land as a dumping ground then a actual crime scene. I know this might be a shock to you, but why have deputies out there in the woods when we can have deputies HERE where the people that can actually STOP those crimes from being committed in the first place.

One has to wonder if this tragic death would have happened had Mr. Garcia been armed with a defensive
weapon.

First they murder the poor guy, now they want to
make odious accusations against his moral character. The the murdered man can't defend himself. The easy way out is for the murderer to make outrageous claims hoping to save his own sorry aX@#$! Shame on you!!

It's not an odious accusation if it's true. It's what's known as a mitigating circumstance and hopefully will be taken into account by a sympathetic justice system.

It's why we have investigations and trials. Let a jury decide what is true and what is not based on the facts and evidence.

Everyone is complaining about how lenient the judges are and how bad of a job the sheriff is doing, what did you all expect? You VOTED THEM IN to their offices!!! Now "you get what you paid for" and we all will suffer for a very long time!! Quit complaining about them and just deal with it!
