Hope he's better then the prices at the Buckhorn. They charge New York prices here in podunk nowhere. Allot of people are staying away because of their SanteFe prices. It's the Artsy Fartsy crowd that keep prices sky high.

Obviously you haven't been there, or you'd notice the number of beat-up pickup trucks parked there-- not too many of the artsy-fartsy crowd drive those. Apparently you're not used to restaurants that use tablecloths and don't bolt the chairs to the floor. As for the prices, the owners have to recoup the $350,000 they spent on the septic system somehow-- but since you haven't eaten out since the Golden Corral closed, I'm not sure you're much of a judge of expense.

I have eaten there twice, once when they first opened with a limited menu and since then with the full menu.
The food, once served, was fabulous-however, the service is the worst I have ever experienced. I don't know if it simply the wait staff hired or if management was not prepared for this type of venue. Bottom line- management is responsibe and pays the price. If they messed up on their own in planning the numbers or if they hired people who do not understand upper scale expectations they will pay the price. I do know, without a doubt, if it does not improve within a couple of months by 500% people will stop coming.
They can eat elsewhere at 35% the cost, get 50% of the flavor and get 300% of the service that is being provided now.

Agree, the food was wonderful. The service was irritating, which is worse than bad. Bad is lunch at Diane's. You put up with it. Irritating, ruins your dinner and stays with you after you leave.

The only place that is more messed up right now in the area is Walmart
