If he was autistic, why didn't someone go with him? I got the impression he lived alone so I wouldn't have guessed he had a disability. After hearing about autistic children in the news lately, especially the boy that wandered off, I would have thought the family would keep closer tabs on him. Overall, it is a horrible shame and my prayers go out to the family.

Do we have to fight about it? Maybe he liked to shave and bathe there as well as stargaze at night!
A human being died what must have been a horrible death and people are on here making asinine "jokes" and arguing about his habits.
Kathie M, I am sorry I made the earlier comment. I was being totally fecicious (sp) and didn't take into account the severity of the situation. Please accept my appology, anyone that was offended by my comment.

I read what the family told the newspaper. He was an autistic man who enjoyed laying on the ledge on watching the stars. Game and Fish don't know him as well as the family, do you think??!!
I just posted that because I know you like to surf and would like more info. Didn't mean to imply that your post was incorrect.

Some of his nieghbors were feeding moutain lions raw chickens. No wonder the cats were coming out of the woods looking for food.

<quoted text>I only carry a knife when hunting, it makes it more of a challenge. Actually, last time I went "hunting" I was only wearing my flipflops and drawers. I had a skunk in my backyard at 1:00 a.m. and had to get rid of him. No time to get dressed.....I think I might start hunting deer that way too.....haha. No need for hunters orange that way.
thats funny, last time I had an incounter with a skunk it hunted me, took over my canoe and would not leave it.
