I'm at a loss for words... 3 losers beat an elderly man unconscious, then rob him?? I'd love to have 10 minutes alone with these losers, I'd give them the beating of their lifetime!!!

If there were witnesses, I sure hope they provided the authoritie with suspect information. I also hope they didn't just stand there and watch this poor man get beat and robbed!!

Disgusting thugs, that need to be dealt with the old fashion way!!

Well, at least they got one of them. Maybe he'll roll over on his buddies. But IE Sports Fan you are right. Any young guys who would beat a senior citizen, especially three against one need to be taught a lesson. They give new meaning to the word "punks". People like that need to get their three strikes soon, so they won't ever walk among society again. Hopefully the judge gives them a strike for this. Even better if they already have two strikes against them.

Guillermo Moratalla is five foot five, and weighs 135 pounds. No wonder it took three of them to beat up a senior citizen. I wonder if his friends were also little punks like him.

Great that's all we need, more Mexican gang banging thugs roaming our streets. I hope they capture the other two and place them behind bars immediately or better yet, deport them. We need to stand up to these lawless Mexican thugs that think they can do as they please here in our country. This may be common in Mexico but should not be here in the USA. Moreover, we need to close our borders with Mexico and deport ALL that are here illegally. Then we must deport the criminal illegal aliens that are roaming ourstreets like rabid animals.

There are certain crimes that just cry out for justice. This is one of those cases. One of our public servants who represent us, the people of California, was brutally attacked by thugs merely for trying to serve them with a WARNING citation.

As the public, we need to demand that this case runs it's course. No plea deals, and no mercy for turning in his companion thugs. These guys would have only gotten a petty little warning citation for parking. Yet they, out of their stupidity and viciousness turned it into a robbery and brutal beating upon an officer. Now and elderly gentleman may suffer pain for the rest of his life for being slugged and then suffering the cowardly kicks from three thugs. Not to mention the potential well-deserved prison sentences for the three brutal thugs.

As a people we need to demand that prosecutors not wimp out and go the easy route of dropping this to simple assault or disturbing the peace. Apparently there were witnesses. These guys need to pe prosecuted to the full extent of the law and be sentenced to prison for years.

When they attacked and robbed an officer that represents us, the people, they were in effect robbing and beating all of us in proxy. This can't be overlooked and trivialized.

Here Here! Well said, couldn't have said it better myself. I would hate to think these animals might be back on our streets in 18 months or so. No mercy for these enemas of society.

Dude, how do you know they were Mexican? For all you know they could've been Salvadoran or Cuban, or whatever. Just like I could make a generalization about you because of your last name and say you're Mexican, but I'd probably be wrong since you seem to have a problem with Mexicans.

These guys were wrong no matter what their background. So, you can condemn gangbangers all you want, but stop denigrating a group of people unlesss you know the facts.

For that matter, how do you even know they were gangbangers..well that's a whole other discussion.

Ok, so now let's nitpick. Are they Mexican? Salvadoran? Guatamalen? Cuban? Jesus. Who cares? They're LATINOS trashing our country, you idiot.
Just making more babies and more ghettos. Jackhole.

Nice, now there's the name calling again.

My point was that thugs are thugs no matter what their heritage is. You proved my point, but don't be making assumptions. Just because they have a Hispanic surname doesn't mean they're Mexican and just because they may be Mexican doesn't mean they're gangbangers.

Comprended Jose? or is it Joe because I doubt your name is Jose.

The San Gabriels and San Bernardino mountains USED to be some of the nicest closest places to visit (35 years ago). For the average joe to visit a campground and see nature without dirty diapers, people fully clothed in the streams, and loud music and 30 people in a campsite for 1 family, you have to drive into the Sierras 4 hours away. (No complaint on the Sierras) You didn't worry about the camp manager giving you a warning because you complied with the rules. They have no care about the campsite, the other campers. They trash it til ordinary folk don't come back.

I am Mexican-American! While I am proud of my heritage I am also disgusted by the fact that so many Mexican gangs are roaming the streets preying on innocent people and yet no one is able to call them and the "Hispanic Community" on this. I am sick of the political correctness that is ruining this country and especially the "Hispanic (Mexican) community" that dare not speak the truth but rather sweep these things under the carpet.

Let's face it. Most crimes committed by "Latinos" here in California are Mexican. And the vast majority of these criminals are gang bangers; or as we call them, "cholitos". It is what it is. If that bothers you then go ahead and stick your head in the sand and hope that we all pretend not to notice how many Mexican youths are killing each other.

Political correctness is nothing short of a game of charades and shear lies; a game that has hurt our country. I'd rather speak the truth even if it means that a few of the politically correct out there are going to get their feathers ruffled.
