Those who don't know what they are talking about (much less spell correctly or type properly syntaxed sentences), should tame their tongues and consider a high school English refresher course.

Well GIA lets hear it? If I dont know what Im talking about, then tell me. Im sorry, your post didnt say English Teacher after it, so I'm assuming you have some other bit of wisdom forthcoming?
If he would make a great candidate, let's hear it.

What you consider a "good ole boy" has always had a job since the age of 14. Ty worked for his father at his pizzeria while going to high school. Ty became a Lieutenant at the Sheriff's Office the old fashioned way- he worked from the bottom up. He started in the jail as a corrections officer and worked his way up the ranks. He and his wife started out with nothing and no one to help them. If you know anything about Ty, you know he and his wife opened a pizzeria over a year ago, partially to honor the memory of his late father. As the business took off, he began to realize he couldn't give 100% to both jobs and left the Sheriff's Office in good standing. He is an honest, moral man, and an exceptional father. Since I didn't see the title of political analyst after your name, I am dying to read your hypothesis of why Ty Boomershine is an inadequate candidate.

Big deal. he held a job. Most of us have. Why dont you comment on his job with the Sullivan County police force and how he takes care of his "buddies" both that are in the Masons with him and that are his friends. Assisting them with their police / legal troubles all kinds of inside information on how to handle legal problems and how to work the system. Is that what you call and "fine upstanding morale" guy? What? did he help you too? Pull a police report on file for you? Serve beer from his resturant to your underage friends? Fix a speeding ticket for you?
as I said before, you dont just quit the Sherrifs dept if he "worked his way up" as you said. What did he leave for? didnt see that in YOUR post and dont see Sherrif's dept Captain after your name.

If you would read my comments, you would see that I addressed why he left the Sheriff's Office when he did ( not the "Police Force"-Don't you know the difference between the police officers and Sheriff's deputies?). When you leave prior to retirement, you can always return to finish the years you have left if you leave in good standing...which he did. You speak in generalities and give no specifics. As you know his personnel file at the Sheriff's Office is public record for all to view who wish to. For that matter, any police report is public record for anyone who wishes to pay to see it. Who cares if he is a Mason? At least he is community oriented and has friends. What is your reason for being so bitter? Did he arrest you or one of your friends? Please show me and anyone else reading this dates, times, names, and case numbers if you have them. On a side note- "moral" is what Ty is and "morale" seems to be something you're lacking. Maybe you need a vacation.

And maybe you need a clue. He didnt leave the Police force or whatever you want to call it to open a pizza place. He left as did his wife be/c he was ASKED to leave.
While I find the fact that I have appeared to have raised your shackles with regards to your buddy, he must have gotten you off some traffic ticket or something, you are a fine one to talk about me needing a vacation.
State what he stands for if you are so pro Ty? Humm.. other than he owns a pizza place.. big whoop, what's his plans for improving the Commission? More taking care of his bud's?

Guess they are some of the underage drinkers at the famous pizza parlor and dont want to jepordize their treasure. NOTICE THIS-I CANNOT BE NOT HEARD FROM IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE I HAVE A FAMILY AND CARRY A FULL TIME JOB AND DONT HAVE THE TIME YOU SEEM TO HAVE TO ENSUE YOUR SEEMINGLY PERSONAL VENDETTA AGAINST MR BOOMERSHINE AND HIS WIFE. YOUR ISSUES WITH MR BOOMERSHINE SEEM TO DOMINATE YOUR EVERYDAY THOUGHTS. SINCE YOU HAVE NO PROOF OF YOUR INSIDIOUS CLAIMS, I WILL TELL YOU THAT MR BOOMERSHINE'S CONSERVATIVE STANCE, LONG TENURE IN LAW ENFORCEMENT, STRONG TIES TO THE COMMUNITY, AND THE FACT HE IS A BUSINESS OWNER IS ENOUGH REASON FOR HIM TO RUN FOR THE POST. IF THERE SPECIFIC THINGS YOU NEED CHANGED AND DEALT WITH IN YOUR COMMUNITY, BRING THEM FORTH AND LET THEM BE HEARD BY ALL OF THE CANDIDATES. IT'S AS SIMPLE AS THIS: IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE HE IS THE CANDIDATE FOR THE JOB THEN SUPPORT SOMEONE ELSE RATHER THAN SMEARING THE PERSON YOU DON'T LIKE. I AM CURIOUS TO KNOW WHO YOU THINK SHOULD BE ELECTED? I HAVEN'T HEARD YOU ENDORCE ANYONE ELSE. I TAKE OFFENSE TO YOUR UNDERAGE DRINKING COMMENTS-I NEVER HAVE AND NEVER WILL CONSUME ALCOHOL. IT DESTROYS LIVES, SO DON'T PIN THAT DRIBBLE ON ME.

I worked with Ty many years at the SCSO and he has the utmost integrity. Good ol' Wayne put him in some difficult situations in which Ty always investigated the facts and was fair in every case he ever worked. When Ty turned his resignation in so that he could devote more time to his own business, he was asked to stay at the SCSO - instead he decided at the time it was best to leave. We miss him at the SCSO. Fred, maybe you are right, Ty probably needs to run for Sheriff instead of commissioner. But since I do know that Ty is a man that stands for things being done correctly and fair for all involved, I will be voting for him in the election! Fred, you won't hear from me again on here because I don't argue with such as your kind. I state facts and move one.

My kind? what a voter? You dont argue with other voters? Thank you for your insight into his splendid career, however, again, no one has stated one single thing that he will improve, change, campaign on etc. You have merely lashed out at me for my statements, but make no statements as to what he stands for. Is that because you dont know or you dont believe them either? Lets hear it folks? if Im such a low life as you fine, upstanding, God fearing Ty supports claim, then tell me something of substance besides what a great pizza maker he is?

Why is Sheriff Anderson working to keep Ty Boomershine from becoming a county commissioner? Does he know the real story about the lawsuit and the other problems,Ty had at the SCSO?

If Ty was elected as commissioner, would he be able to work with Sheriff Anderson? Is this campaign an attempt to get into position to get revenge for what Ty says they did him dirty? There are alot of questions I would like to have answered before the election is held.

So what's the story on that? If you read all the above posts, he appears to be a pillar of the community and exemplary record with the SCSO, but you seem to have another story. Are you sharing or leaving us all to wonder?

Based on the above, decided to do some checking myself. Appears the aforementioned lawsuit is from Ty's wife suing the Sheriff for sexual harrassment? Also, appears while that wasnt directly maybe the reason Ty left SCSO, there were other reasons. Such as indiscretions in handling cases, giving information that should be confidential and that sort of thing. Is this correct or is someone just making those up?
