the point here wrote: The point here is not what he did. Lots of people do stuff like that. The point is he is supposed to be ABOVE the rest of us, helping us with OUR faults, not humping a hooker. We WANT to be "good" and "above" stuff like that but the truth is we're all dogs. The real point is if he can't control himself and can't guide others to be above their failings he needs to get another job and let someone who is better than him do the preaching. Boot him out and try again. True, the church is history if they keep him in. Look what happened to Tigar Woods.

I grew up with his wife and her family, and I can tell you right now that all of this idle gossip is hurting them. Do gossips ever think about how hurtful their words can be to people who have nothing to deserve it? Well he spent the night in jail I think thats pretty good proof, dont you think......lol

If the church members allow this pastor in the pulpit after what he has done they are just upholding him. What kind of respect can you have for a person such as this,Can you really listen to what he teaches you on Sunday mornings,Before you start upholding him once again you are making your church look bad by keeping him there. Swallow your pride and let him go,everyone knows he's guilty and the evidence is there. Also a few more church members, leaders, deacons bringing the church down as well,It's becoming a do what you want Drink and be Merry Church.Stop disgracing your Church and God. This is exactly why sinners can't be led to the Lord because they see the example Christians are setting and see no difference,Hypocrites are what they observing in public

Sinners watch the people who are supposed to be Christians and for them to see things like this go on in churches is a disgrace to the entire community and the Christian church. I bet the sinners ask why should I stop going to the bars and make an effort to get up and go to church on Sunday morning, pay the church 10% of my wages when the church members live like heatherns....what's the purpose?

The Bible tells us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. What one person does not excuse us from living for the lord. We have to stand alone at the end and give account for ourselves. None is perfect and all sin and come short. We cannot excuse ourselves because some fall we r not suppose to follow man. There are no perfect Christians people are still in the flesh and will not be perfect till we leave here.

However; when you look around you and you see that most sinners morals and values in a community are better than a lot of Christians and preachers....what does that say for the church? That says, we have a problem.

Everyone just cares about themselves as long as it feels good do it frame of mind. We just have to do the best we can and hope it's enough.

Yes and I must say, although we do have to stand by ourself at the end, the preachers were put here for some purpose or why would we have them? A lot of them have condoned this everything goes just so none of their titherers get mad and quit. God is loving and forgiving, but that don't mean everything is acceptable, people need to read their bibles more and not through their rose colored glasses.

I don't know what to say except that I've known this man and his family since I was born. They are pretty much the most giving, caring, loving family I've ever been around. When I heard that this happened, I was in shock, but people make mistakes!(yes, horrible, embarrassing mistakes) But it doesn't make him a terrible person!! haha. Did he molest a child? no. Did he murder or injure someone? no. Did he do anything to hurt anyone besides himself and his own family? no. Yes, pastors are held to a higher standard, but c'mon guys...if any of you know him, his wife, or children, you would be a little kinder. Take it from someone who is not a member of the congregation, but has known him forever. He made a stupid mistake, but he's still a good man and his family's name doesn't deserve to be dragged through the mud.

Most sit up there and drink drink drink and don't care who sees them then goes to church on Sunday thinking they done nothing wrong!!! Most people who goes there need to step back and take a look at there lives if they think they are living for the lord! I won't be sending my two kids there next week for bible school after I have SEEN and HEARD this past year what members have been doing! You should have spent less time in church and more time in English class.

And he did hurt other people besides his family he hurt everyone around him and anyone who knows him. Preachers are only human but when they are ordained they know that they are being watched by everyone . If he can't resist this wonder who will resist the mark of the beast.

I, too, have known Keith all his life and am so upset for what his family, the church, and his friends have been put thru. The sad thing is, I don't see a solution to the problem. He has lost his testimony and I don't see how he can have any success as pastor at Cook Memorial any more. This will always be in the back of people's minds, even if they do forgive him, which they should, if he asks for forgiveness, rather than deny the whole thing. It's just a sad, sad situation!

I know he can and maybe already has been forgiven but confidences in his life as a pastor is gone, but I hope he goes back to god and never gives up because that would not solve anything.

If the ladies in the church had filled the preachers needs he wouldn't have been arrested for messing with prostitutes. Ladies in his flock carry the burden for his arrest. They should be ashamed for not filling his needs.
