What do you make, my brother from another company? About eight dollars an hour. I have heard from many of their current and former employees, that they will lie to you, use you. However, that is true of any security company around here, and I have worked for several.

Wait until you start getting treated like a big steaming pile of you know what, by people who want to enter your site, and the employees of that site. Thank them for your job when someone pulls a guy on you, threatens to beat the crap out of you, or you get stuck at work for days and nights on end (try my personal record Monday night to Monday the following morning without leaving site). This is a thankless job, where you are the bottom of the totem pole, top of the .... list.

I have worked for Cramer security for 5 months now, and the people who work there are professional, and respectful of anyone entering the job site.I think I do have a great job, and I enjoy doing it.I've worked for other security firms, this company is by far the best i have worked for.
Whatever you may think it's not an easy job, but it's a lot better then sitting in front of your computer being a bitter jerk like you. Most decent people count themselves lucky to have a job now and days, but there are a lot of no account fools who would rather sit on there butt and live off other peoples charity. We get paid to work, not sleep, not stand around and loaf all day you idiot. If you feel it's so easy go apply. If you can pass a criminal background check, then try working for a month. You wouldn't last a week probably because you never kept a job in the first place.Your a joke.

The only drawback with Cramer when I worked there was the lack of pay, especially in these rough economic times. $8/hr is barely enough to for gas to get to the job sites. There are a few companies out there that will pay you $9/hr and more.

I have a good idea of who after thought is, and she has probably held a job longer than we have been alive. Yeah, I have seen your security company at work, and from what I have noticed, you have some very professional people, but you have some bums as well. Truth be told, every security outfit has some sorry people that wear the uniform.

....and there's some that works at Cramer that will tell you that they get paid real good because they get a lot of overtime. But hey, I would rather spend my time off with my family instead of spending the majority of my time working for a company in order to have decent money. I also noticed someone on here had my post removed that I had on here last week. I guess the truth hurts, don't it?

Your post was probably removed because you mentioned a name or used a bad word, the monitor doesn't like that so she removes them.

No I did not use a bad word or do I ever post a name on Topix, but the original poster put 3 names up and that post is still there. Therefore, your point is mute.

If I am not mistaken CSI is monitoring topix because of some previous postings. It stands to reason that they are requesting that anything overly degrading towards their company be removed. In any event, sometimes the truth cuts deep, and $8.00 an hour does not go very far these days.

Maybe they can unionize. They could demand better wages, and some benefits.

WOW, I was not degrading the company but relaying my past experience. If they consider $8/hr as degrading then maybe they should give their people a raise and cut out the $11 biweekly uniform service charge.

have you ever heard the story or should I say the statement, you can please some of the people some of the time but you can not please all of the people all of the time.. I have been told buy some of Cramer's people that they hated working for them and some love it.I do how ever think that you need to get a good day's pay for a good day's work. and t 8.00 a hour you can not really get buy.not with the price of gas. and the cost of housing. and no kind of health inc.and you can not afford to buy health inc on 8.00 per hour. as for a uniform service charge . Cramers ca take that off their tax's.. and most they do. just another way to make money off of their workers. the coal company pay's Cramers about 25$ to 30$ per our for the person they have working.the person doing the job gets less than half. they still come out way ahead when you work over rime as this to is back billed to Cilffs.this is not degrading this company as they all do this. is this fair no . but job's are so hard to come by you must take what you can get.can you live well on this pay check no but you can get by.and just get by.week to week pay check to pay check . and hope the good lord holds you in his hands so nothing goes wrong. The job you do can get you killed. and your family will have to pay to put you in the ground. I am sure they will send you flowers..Unlike the police who have Inc. to cover all this.. so the next time you think you have a wonderful job I hope you think about this. and If you have a family I would say to keep looking for another wonderful job that pay's more. and cares more about their workers .. and let me make this CLEAR ALL SECURITY COMPANYS DO THIS.. ....I am so happy for you that you do not have to work over time at this job,, and still give your family all they need.
