It's sad to come on to this website and read all of the dreadful things people say about others, especially others in the same community. The definition of community isn't a group of people who use words to hurt one another, but rather a group of people who live together and share commonalities, culture and interests. This may not directly describe Pineville (or surrounding areas), but it doesn't have to. There should be some sort of respect among a group of people who live in such a small area. Of course, I'm sure someone will get on here and say that I'm a hypocrite or a "goodie goodie", but it's not wrong to want everyone to get along. Also, it's not wrong to want everyone to get along. Food for thought: is it worth it to you to bully someone so badly that they injure themselves or someone else? Could you live with that on your shoulders? I doubt you could.

Would there just happen to be ONE post in particular that you are talking about?? Could it happen to be the one about the Preacher Soliciting a Prostitute???

No, "HaHa" it was more of a general thing really. Although, the one about Mr. Reed is quite terrible. Since you're reply would be more hostile then helpful, I guess you weren't affected much by my previous post. Remember this: ignorance isn't rewarded, it's severely frowned upon.

Well if it's so sad buddy, why do you come on here and read them. Get you a comic book or something to read.

I would hate to live in a world where everyone could just get along. It's the differences that drive the universe. Go ahead, speak for peace and unity, but I'm sure you've stood against something or someone in your life before. Just as you don't seem to be getting along with the flow of things on this forum. Can't you just leave people alone? Must you start a new thread of discord? Peace to you mate.

I don't get on here to read this for pleasure, "Get Real". But it's sad if you do. So very sad. Maybe you should acquire a hobby... or a job. Reading about people's misery for fun is one of the world's greatest downfalls. Topix is like a tabloid on crack.

How's that crack high working for you? Don't kid yourself, the only difference between you and everyone else on here is your point of view. I guess this is your first time too!!!

It may be the differences that drive us, but to push someone on the edge over is uncalled for. I am personally looking forward to when someone finally snaps due to topix in this town and goes on a getting even spree. Maybe then you will all wake up, nope I doubt it you would call them crazy and not the people who pushed them over the edge.

Well it's like this, IF your pic is shown all over the news and you've been arrested for either prostitution or soliciting a prostitute, then you may as well be prepared for others to talk about it!! Keep your money in your wallet, your tongue in your mouth, and your pants pulled up and you won't have nothing to worry about!! He got caught with his pants down and now other's are supposed to feel sorry for him, I think NOT!!! The best thing for him, his friends, or his church followers to do is call the News Station's and the Law Enforcement that busted him and complain to them and see how far you get with it!!LOL

It has been made clear already that this thread was a "GENERAL" thing, and not specific to the preacher situation. As such, what I said was general. And I was hinting at the bullying online that tends to push people over the edge they are already on and my desire to see them get even so that maybe people would wake up to how bad that junk hurts. My desire to see them go on a getting even spree either by court or other methods of radical reform is radical; and perhaps a little nutty. Bullying and online bullying of people already on edge has caused so many suicides, school shootings, and ruined lives in other ways as well. That is the reason for my post and the reason for my desire for quick and radical reform in that area. People have lost jobs and had their lives ruined by Topix in many different ways over these personal attacks. Don't believe me? Just google "lives ruined by topix" or research cyberbullying and look at the scientific fact of what it does to the mind.

I responded to the preacher thing on the preacher thread specifically and went general on the general thread while not even thinking about the preacher. I'm nutty like that.

People have killed themselves before topix, and always will, even if they take topix off line, there will still be people killing themselves and others. Even people who go to the hospitals and Dr's for medication and therapy still often kill themselves. I tend to believe that if a person whats to do it bad enough, they will, no matter you do to try to prevent it.

So, I guess it's safe to assume that you have in fact read the thread concerning the "Preacher" huh?? It seems to me that you love reading gossip, true or untrue, as well as everyone else!! You knew also that by starting this type of thread more bullshit would surface!! Your right, I wasn't affected much by your post, should I had been??? Just because my, or anyone else's opinion on things differ with yours DOES NOT mean they are ignorant nor hostile!! Practice What You Preach!!!

I have not read that particular thread, but I do watch the news. Most people do and unlike Topix it is much closer to fact. In the end, the ignorance and pure curiosity of you poor soles will leave nothing but a disarray. Also, I'm not suggesting that anyone whose opinion differs from mine or anyone else's is "ignorant". I'm only merely stating the obvious: this website does nothing but promote the attitudes and opinions of those who are outside of the situation.
