These people are thief!! All they care about is ripping people off if I could rate it a 0 or a negative number I would. I came to this location 5 minutes after calling them and having had informed the lady in the front desk that all I needed was my oil FILTER changed because I was unable to do so, and that I even had my own filter to put on. She then informed me that it was company policy that they were unable to use my filter and that they would have to use their own I agreed being that I had no other choice. So once I arrived at the location being that it was 30 minutes before closing the lady rushes out takes my keys gives it to the bay employees and they start working on it, my understanding was that they were aware that all I needed was the filter replaced. About 20 minutes later the guy comes in and says oh we're sorry we can't take the canister off you're gonna have to take it to where you had it done before. So um okay you were unable to change the filter then why in the world did you drain out brand new synthetic oil that was in the engine after I specifically told the receptionist that all I needed was the filter replaced but she couldn't use mine due to company policy. Then she comes with oh your total is $71.13 for absolutely nothing all they did was drain out a car which had brand new oil in it and for a tire rotation which was supposed to already be included in the packaged. Are you kidding me? This location robbed me for doing absolutely nothing, they robbed me for their mistake, for that incompetent receptionist inability to listen to when I clearly told her all I needed was a new oil filter. THEFT!

That is a really strange experience. Why on earth would you only need a filter changed, but not the oil. I can see how this would be very confusing for the tech to understand. My experience with Tire Kingdom at Regency (16628 W Catawba Ave, Huntersville, NC 28078) has been only positive. I live nearby so it is convenient for me. I went several times with a nail or screw in my tire and they promptly repaired the tires each time (Tires need to be removed and patched; they no longer plug them like in the old days) without trying to sell me anything else. I also went for an oil change once with a coupon, so it was $19.95. Once again, they changed the oil and did the inspections and didn't find a bunch of other stuff to recommend, no salespitch. So based on this experience I decided to buy my next set of tires from them. This was an even better experience, because the new Michelin tires were so much quieter than our OEM tires it was like driving a new car. Sorry you had a bad experience, but I have only had positive experiences and will continue to go there and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
