Does Robin have to tell you George said do not worry about any money.
Why did he say that to her?
Cause he had already made his deal. You are the Skitzo,
Why can't you relax? This is bothering you than anyone on here.
I have read many times that George would not take money from her.
If you read instead of running your mouth you would have seen it also.
But that is all you are a Catfish with your mouth wide open ready to take the bait. ROFLMAO !!!

To show you just how stupid you are. I assume you posted this piece of toilet paper to bolster your claim that BF is guilty of murder. So guilty in fact that a trial is not required.
Here you have this unknown person claiming this and that, and yet within their "eyewitness" account is the claim that BF told people that he "had to go home". Now if this is true, is Hwy 485 where the accident occured consistent with the route BF would have taken home from the party?
Yeah, y'all right. There's nothing that would have come out in trial that would have resulted in acquittal. It was a clear case of double homicide
What time was the call? What time was the accident? Were the directions written or verbal? If he was that drunk why would his friends send him on a route he wasnt familiar with? Did anyone go with him, if so who, and when did they get out of the jeep and where?
But now we know his friends sent him to Hwy 485, where the fatal accident occured.
All kinds of questions arise.
Hardly justice if you ask me. They really didnt care about justice, for the victims or BF.
I was told he drove because he wanted to exhibit "malicious intent". That he wanted to harm or kill.
Now you tell me he drove because he wanted to go home.
No defense was ever offered up by George Laughrun. The only thing I know about Laughrun was that he escorted the teenage Franklin to the prosecutors office where he allowed Brock Franklin to tell the District Attorney's office everything he knew about the underage drinking party he attended prior to the fatal accident.
George Laughrun is a "high profile" and "expensive" criminal attorney. He is not the kind of attorney you would expect to defend a low income "defendant" like Brock Franklin. And yet Laughrun took the case and then offered "no defense". Very strange.

1. Why would a highpowered attorney take this case and then do "nothing"?
You don't find this strange? It's like buying a high powered rifle to go deer hunting only to leave the rifle at home, replacing it with a "pea shooter".
Why did he take the case if he didnt intend to defend his client? Why would the client need him?
Maybe that's why he took the case, he "intended" to do nothing, and by taking the case he guaranteed that the accused would not have a defense.
To pay the full cost of a lawyer like Laughrun, it would run his client somewhere in the $100,000.00 range. Do you think the Franklin family had that kind of money? Wasnt Brock's father a fire fighter? You check the wages for that job.
I think the reason Laughrun doesnt ask for his fee is because he's unwilling to get into a pissing contest, that might force him to admit exactly what he did to "earn" this fee.
I never read a thing from Laughrun other than "Brock Franklin want's to get on with his life". As if a 16 year sentence for an 18 year old constitutes "getting on with his life".
But if George Laughrun planned a defense for Brock Franklin then please let us all know what it was.
PSII- Ever notice that none of the charges against Brock Franklin had anything to do with drinking and driving? There was no DWI charge, no "vehicular manslaughter"? I find that interesting, don't you?
I've asked you more than once to tell me what George Laughrun did to defend his client.
I see you can't tell me what George Laughrun did that was remotely "lawyer like".
And that's my point- why does a high profile Charlotte attorney take this case and then do "nothing"? Does it make sense to anyone out there? But why take the case if you didnt have a plan of defense? The whole exercise becomes pointless.
George Laughrun never offered up a defense of anykind so why go through this charade of asking about an "appeal" etc.? Nothing was done for Brock Franklin, and I mean "nothing".
PS- please be so kind and produce Brock Franklins confession. I've never read his confession, have you?
It is a political conviction and not based on law or the facts in the case.
A very wise man said this.

Now, after taking a look at these two pictures it should be quite obvious as to what happened here. Off duty officer David Jones received a call that his mother was hit by another driver. Mr. David Jones shows up full of rage and then beats the living snot out of Mr. McVicker. And the best answer officer Jones’s attorney (George Laughrun) can offer is that Mr. McVicker fell. Does his face look to you like he fell?

Run from George !!!!

I do not recommend George Laughrun.
I used George more than 3 years ago.
George handled my Criminal Defense matter.
I have previously worked with 3-5 lawyers.
I had the misfortune of retaining George in 2001 on a drug charge and he basically showed up in court, pleaded me out and didn't do a damn thing else apart from pushing me to snitch on others. Run from George with your life!!

So I do not recommend anyone if they want a fair lawyer , trustworthy lawyer, to pick this lawyer. I would recommend into looking at other lawyers.

I do not recommend George Laughrun.
I used George more than 3 years ago.
George handled my Criminal Defense matter.
I have previously worked with 1-2 lawyers.
Hello everyone. I am a 25 year old female and I just wanted to let you all know that I hired Mr. Laughrun to represent me.
6 months later I was arrested for "failure to appear". Even though we were both there on the court date and he shook my hand and said "stay out of trouble."
I paid his reseptionist and went on my way.
I was publicly humiliated while arrested, telling the cops over and over I was there for my court date, they told me I was a liar.
My friend phoned Laughrun while I was loaded into the car in cuffs and he said "I'll take a look at the case first thing in the morning." (It was 8PM) I was to spend the night in Meck. County Jail.
Now he claims I owe him more money and he didn't even get me the expungement I asked for!!
I am meeting with him in two weeks with a witness and then I will take matters up with the NCBA (North Carolina Bar Association). I refuse to be charged to be taken to jail!!!
He didn't attempt to contact me in any way and says that I can come see him but that I am not allowed a copy of my own file! There isn't much in writing except for the reciept for what I paid him. And some letters his office sent.
He NEVER tried to make contact with me!
NOTE-(this was not for a felony.)
I was livid. The first time I was billed, after I paid already, I thought that maybe it was a mistake. When I called him and asked he confirmed this to be true.
Then I got a second bill. When I called and asked about it, he said I owed him and that the first original fee was for the court cost only.(Kinda funny they are the exact same amount!!!!)
He blames the court for the "mistake" but insists he did what he should. But paperwork was not filled out or filed properly or something.

Walton convicted of running over two women, killing one

By Claire McNeill and Gary L. Wright - cmcneill@charlotteobserver.com

Leah Anne Walton was convicted Monday of running over two women in a 2010 wreck that killed one and seriously injured the other.

The Mecklenburg jury convicted Walton of involuntary manslaughter and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injuries. The 23-year-old woman also was convicted of reckless driving, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and having no vehicle liability insurance.

Walton will be sentenced Tuesday. Her attorney said she faces up to five years, 11 months in prison.

Susan Karabulut was killed after a 2001 Volkswagen Beetle driven by Walton crossed the center line on Craig Avenue, jumped the curb and went up on the sidewalk.

Karabulut and Lisa McIe were struck while taking a break from their jobs as nurses at the White Oak Manor retirement and nursing home.

“It’s a tough case,” defense attorney George Laughrun told the Observer.“It’s sad for everybody. There are no winners.”

In her closing statement Monday, prosecutor Gabrielle Macon pointed to Walton’s “disregard for life” and said the incident was about more than inattentiveness – it was about choice.

“The defendant’s choices resulted in the carnage you heard about,” she said, describing the scene in which Walton, who said she was late for work, swerved across the road and drove on the sidewalk for almost 100 feet before striking Karabulut and McIe.

“What’s important is what happened before the defendant got behind the wheel,” she said.“She was popping pills and doing drugs, plain and simple.”

Macon said Walton, who was 21 at the time, was found with several drugs in her system. Walton said she had last taken a Xanax anxiety pill the night before, but Macon said Walton wasn’t being truthful.

She added that Walton had marijuana and a pipe in her car, as well as prescription drugs that weren’t prescribed to her.

“For the defendant, life was a party,” Macon said.

“How do you not see Lisa and Susan while you’re on the sidewalk before you hit them? How do you not know the difference between a bump in the road and a person beneath your car?” she asked.“How do you not know what’s taken place until you get out of the car and see their bodies on the road?”

In his closing statement, Laughrun stressed to jurors that Walton had been forthcoming throughout the entire process, admitting on the stand Friday that she was entirely at fault.

“You heard what happened. She got up, she was running late, she reached over for a pack of cigarettes, crossed the center line ... and caused this tragedy,” he said to jurors at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse.

But he argued that she shouldn’t be charged with involuntary manslaughter.

“Does Leah Walton deserve to be punished for what she did? Of course she does,” he said to jurors.“Was that reprehensible, evil negligence? I think not ... It’s not about an eye for an eye.”

In 2011, prosecutors had offered Walton a plea deal that would have given her a punishment ranging from probation to two years in jail. But with the not-guilty plea, the deal was removed.

typo - He DID nothing at all!! There is a huge story behind what happened to me and he didn't even want to hear it.. I was set up and mistreated in so many ways.. even made to withdraw my appeal at the threat of re-arrest! He thought that was amusing.... I will forever feel as a warrior because my career was destroyed by those people for the fun of it. I had nothing else. I have put on weight, my health has failed because of it and it ultimately will be my death if I can't find justice for what happened to me. I have nothing to loose now -- I will find justice!!!!! one way or another!!!!!!!!! Avoid George Laughrun unless you are extremely wealthy and/or famous.. Those are all he works for. He didn't even review my case until five minutes before the hearing.. I don't think he would have even known who I was. He heard a dozen cases that morning, like an assembly line... My entire life was ruined because I was set up and I WILL FIND JUSTICE ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!! from the people that have harmed me!!!!!!!

You knew when Pickerd said only oral statement that was a lie.
The written statement was written on the very same day.
You would not work on the case.
The Civil sure did.
that is how we found out.
After you sent my son to prison.
Plus, the judge suspended the last part, but no you would not have it, you approached the bench and made her change her sentence to more.
that should be against the law.
You said He would get 10 yrs or less and you had already spoken with the judge. Everything was handled
you lied.
The whole time
and no you did not visit him 30 or more times in prison what a liar
you sAT Under oath and said you saw him that many times
you sat under oath and said there was no investigation
Marsha Goodenow could not wait to get hold of the media outside that day and tell a lie that it was investigated
