Quick story about how Murray has affected my dad..

Before post this I know I will get attacked. But I don't care. My father is in a wheel chair after a wreck left him paraplegic about 15 years ago when I was only 9 years only. About 10 years ago he began listening to Arnold Murray. First I never thought much about it b/c I wasnt even in to religion that much. But when I turned 20 I had to make a choice based on all the INFO I had read and on common sense. Im totally against Organized Religions and believe they are basically all one in the same once you look past the different characters. However Im not here to start anything. I grew up in Mississippi like, my dad, where everyone is automatically supposed to be a Christian. The past 10 years my dad has changed spiritually which at first I was kinda glad to see that. He, however, doesn't know what I really beleive and thinks I still believe in a Christian God. But the more and more I have to listen to him simply REPEAT what Murray says: 1)White is the superior race and other races are not pure(which most people in Miss in their 60's now were raised by people that were pretty much racist in the earl century) 2)No eternal hell(Good for me if God is real, huh?) 3)US and England are tribes of Isreal 4)The Kenites are off spring of a snake and Eve(which is very hard to deal with being that I am so political, everytime I mention something about politics he AUTOmatically says d@m Kenites, which is a laughable excuse... The list could go on and on and on about total differences in the way I was "conditioned" growing up. I feel like my dad has been brain washed by a cult-LIKE leader preaching false interpretations of the bible and telling my dad that sense I dont beleive in God I am not pure and pretty much Satan or off spring of Satan. I don't care if people believe in Religion, I just don't want him invloved in the same movement that was going on by the Nazis during WW1 and 2. So I would just like some feedback on other Murray followers and hear another side besides my dads.. Do you all believe in the white is the pure race and so forth....Dont have time to proof read it gotta go to school, sorry for mistakes

No, white race is not a pure race, and pastor Murray does not teach that. If your so concerned, how about watching Shepherds Chapel yourself? Then you would know without any bias. If your father feels that way, its because he felt that way at heart and twisted Murrays teachings. You said yourself your dad was raised in the south.

I agree Pastor Murray does not teach that! Not sure where the OP thought he teached that. Pastor Murray teaches word by word God's teachings. OP you should listen to them and come to your own conclusion. I am not sure what answer you are wanting?

Arnold Murray of the Shepherds chapel does not preach that. He teaches right out of the Bible and is a wonderful teacher. He teaches truth and gives you understanding. Watch his program and read the Bible and find out for your self and you will see how great his understanding of Gods word is and he teaches so easy and gives you understanding. Please watch for yourself and see.

This is the biggest pile of dog poop I 've ever read, nothing could be farther from the truth. God gives you the understanding, SC just does what they are called to do, and teach it no holds bared.

First, you must ask why this person, who could have picked a better user name than "satan" would start a thread about Murray when there already is one.Is it because he was afraid of just what is happening to him?

See how he ahead of time already characterized any negative response to his posts as "attacks"? This smells of a set up.

I've been at this for a long time, defending against real attacks on Murray and the SC. As a twenty year student, I've seen just about everything SC critics have to offer.

You're dad's racist attitudes, "satan" don't come from Murray, who teaches that ALL races are pure, at the time of their creation."God looked upon His creation, and declared it very good, Genesis reads.

SIN pollutes all, makes all impure. Christ takes away that sin, obliterates it upon your own repentance.

That is what he teaches, which isn't any different that the majority of Christianity.

My gut feeling: that the possibility exists for a person that was posting on the Arnold Murray Shepherd's Chapel thread to create this thread with the intention of appealing to, or even creating new Murray critics. But he bases this on false info on his own father,(or his imaginary father, we just don't know).

But like the others have said, it's wrong, it makes me suspect that this is just some story, as Murray doesn't teach that stuff at all. I suspect that this person got the material for his made up tale from anti-Chapel web sites. Because that's the slop you will read on them. "Murray is a racist, believes the white race is pure, blah blah blah."

In the interest of setting the record straight about Murray, that comment isn't accurate. Murray teaches the Bible, he is not a historian. However, he does offer in the SC book list books that are about British-Israelism.(sometimes called Anglo-Israelism)

Unfortunately, BI, as it is abbreviated, has been hijacked by truly racist groups. But the history of it is not from racism, as a matter of fact, the ADL (Anti-Defamation League, who is primarily focused on anti-semitism)freely admits this on their site.

It is up to the individual to cut through the propaganda and study the history of the Diaspora (the migration of the Jewish tribes)and this includes those in history who tried to hide the facts supporting BI, because THEY were anti-semitic, and refused, and tried to hide, the fact their own ancestors were probably from the tribes of Israel!

That Murray also believes this of himself (who is of Scottish descent)should put help prove he does not teach all Jews are "Kenites" or any Jew for that matter.

What he does teach is that in the latter days, and even through history, there were those who "claimed to be Jews, but are not, and lie, and are the synagogue of satan." Revelation 2 & 3.

But as the Parable of the Wheat and Tares states,
we are not to harm the "Tares" and let the angels gather them up at the end of this age.

So you see "satan", if your dad truly is an SC student, unfortunately, he is a very poor one, to have listened that long and believes what he believes. OR you are making it up. OR you are not listening closely enough to your dad. I have no way
knowing which is true. But I do know what the SC REALLY teaches!

Jesus said those who are jews are jews at heart .. what does that mean ? It means those who are obedient to God , those who do His will , those who love the Lord with all of their heart.
We are not saved accrding to our linage , for God is no respector of people . We are saved according to His calling , God will save whom He pleases .

Seems you are the one who trailed off into geneologys , if your going to talk geneology and apply it to your faith, you need to consult the word of God . I don't need your permission to preach the gospel that is a gift given by the Holy Spirit. It is the Lord not a man that commissions His children to be strong in their faith. You need to know , Gods word before you go around teaching things that God has not said . Murrays ancetral background makes him Holy ? Now thats RIDICULOUS... You need to inform Mr. Murray that unless he comes through Jesus there is no way he can get to the Father. Murrays bloodline is not going to save him . This clearly shows us that Mr. Murray has not received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Yes man is born from out of the flesh of woman , from water of her womb , But there is a greater birth and that is the birth of Gods own Spirit endwelling within a believer at the moment he receives the Lord into his heart.
Now this is the heavenly things that Jesus spoke to Nickodemus.

Isiah 29:

Nicodemus was dead , like all of us are dead (sinful nature) from birth . Life enters into us through Jesus ( a spiritual birth ). A whole new life ahead of us . This offends the scholars of this world , they seek geneoligys and rely on the possibility that they are born with a spirit from God.
God's word says the rebirth ( 2nd birth , 1st from the flesh eartly, now from The Holy Spirit , heavenly.) This is the life giving Spirit that comes down out of heaven through the regeneration of the spirit.
A dead spirit is regenerated to life when they accept Christ crucified for their sins. Our sins are forgiven us and we become a new man. That old dead spirit in us becomes alive through Christ Jesus.
The gospel message is the power and the wisdom to those who are called and saved by God.
The Holy Spirit bears witnes with that soul that is in us in doing so we are able to reconize the things that come from Him . God chose the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wisemen. The lowly ones not the royalty not the men who ride on high horses . For God did not come to save the righteous ( those who think they are royal from birth). He came to save the sinners who reconise their need to be saved.
The word of God is transforming and wisdom proceeds from those who know God. It is by the truth given us from The Holy Spirit that we testify of him to you that you also may receive His Spirit. This is the power given us by God that whosoever believeth on Him will have life.
Life fills the believer at the moment he is saved with spirit that is alive in Him.

I guess there is hope for everyone, but this man has led many astray. I'm more concerned for his followers. Some times the only way to receive the truth is to get honest before God and tell him that we want the truth no matter what it cost us.

Why try and impose your religion on someone? God is judge and just because I believe different than you don't mean you are going to heaven. Your a self loving hypocrite. You wouldn't know truth if it hit you in the head heath.

I once belonged to cult, my mind so confused that I got down on my knees and asked God to give me the truth. It did not come immediately, but I slowly begin to see that grace was what I needed. No one has all truth, but when we have Jesus , he is all we need. I now depend on Him and his love for me and not a bunch of hocus pocus religiosity.
