That museum is the ONLY thing of interest to ANYONE in this poor, forsaken, little town! Realize that, and even if it isn't your cup of tea, keep garbage like that last post to yourself!

The Hall of Fame had potential, but it has been ruined by the admission of many politicians who are currently prominent, but aren't really going to have enduring fame. Apparently, the Hall of Fame overseers are more interested in flattering potential benefactors than in recognizing truly famous figures from Louisiana politics.

Whatever your thoughts on the museum, it is an attraction for some. People do come form all parts of the state. There are many from out of state. I do NOT work for the museum, nor have I been there, it does not interest me. But it is a good thing for winn.

The doctor gave his thoughts on the subject.

The museum may be fine. It has interesting exhibits. However, the Hall of Fame failed because the admission process was aimed more at pandering to prominent politicians or their families and friends than it was at actually picking famous figures from Louisiana's political history.

I agree. It would be nice if the museum would be a leader in helping to attract even more tourism to Winnfield and Winn Parish. It does seem that many of the inductees were also "shady" characters "back in their day".
