Leave it to the Town Talk to screw up a story

The article in today's paper states that (Jerry) Jones will be opposed by Alice Hammond, Gwendolyn Foster, Jules Green and Houston Rax.

The next paragraph states that (Jerry) Jones also will face four opponents including Steve Coco, Milton Gordon, Emile Hurts, Lee Rubin and Daniel Williams.

Two questions come to mind.

Does Jules Green live in District 3 and what happened to Von Jennings who has said she would oppose Jerry Jones?

I pulled up the maps for the council districts for the City of Alexandria. It appears Jules Green, while living on Marye Street, does indeed live in District 3, Jerry Jones' district.
Remember in Civics class when we studied "gerry-mandering"?

Jacques has Jerry Jones and Alice Hammond in his pocket. FYI…Gwendolyn Iles Foster is a Herbert Dixon puppet.

I am glad I don't have a dog in this fight.
But Jones does seem to be doing a credible job.
If Green wins, there will be more fighting on the City Council.
Nothing will be accomplished.

Any thoughts on the "at-large" race?
