My son is an inmate in this hell on earth. apparently it is the place where they send the lifers, prisoners with no hope of parolle, the worst of the worst, my son who should have been released a long time ago, has been sent there, because he stood up for what was right, and is being punished for it, he is classified as a medium security prisoner, and obviously pollock doesnt qualify, he is being detained unjustly in a place that violate his rights to be incarcerated according to time remaining, and the crime, he was sent oout of his region, and ended up here due to a punishemnt sent down people in power who didnt like someone doing the right thing, which was against what they wanted from him,
sound fair to you?
what if this was you, your son? your father , your brother, your friend?
what would you do?
let his life be taken from him unjustly? or would you stand up and shout it from the roof tops, my sons civil rights as an american are being violated and have been violated since the begining of his sentence, in federal court.
sound fair?
is this still america?
or are we under some other dictator ship no one told me about?
this is america people, prisoners are americans, prisoners are peoples family, loved ones.
prisoners are people, and they have constitutional rights.
if we dont protect our civil rights, what is to become of us as a nation or as individuals?
stand up and let your voice be heard, dont give up on america, justice, your rights, but basically as human beings when is it ever right to give up on people?
please dont give up on my son.
the Lord and i dont ever plan to.
if you are in a position to offer any kind of assistance to my son.please let your voice be heard for him and for those whose voices are being silenced.
let your voice be heard as americans.
stand up for what is right. it's time america. to end the injustce, to end the slow death of our civil liberties.
it's time to speak out for those who cant speak for themselves.
someone please speak out for my son.
my contact info if you or anyone you know can please offer my son any kind of help.

To the person who responded to the woman who wrote of her son at Pollock, how dare you! The word of God states we must forgive in order to be forgiven.(paraphrased). You are sitting in judment seat, because we have all SINNED! We are to speak out against the sin and not the sinner. I'm sure when you posted your comment, there probably was a "beam in your eye." Have you told a little white lie lately?, have you lusted in your heart? Have you sworned or taken the Lord's name in vain lately? have you prejudged someone based on their gender, race, physical handicap, etc.,lately? have you forgiven someone who has wronged you lately? have you shown mercy on anyone lately? have you show love in your heart for your enemy? I'm sure you get the big picture; "He who be without sin, let him cast the first stone." Evidently, you are not a believer in the word of God. May God have mercy on you, and forgive you for being so merciless.
I to have a nephew at Pollock who was stabbed 5 times by another inmate. Can you imagine how this hurt to find out 2-3 weeks later because the prison has been on lock down. He's unable to call or even write it seems. I am so afraid for his life because you see, he too has a family that loves and cares about him, his rights as a human being, and his well-being. His crime was not a violent one. He didn't hurt anyone, only set-up by those he trusted. It hurts me so, so much to hear people like yourself say such cruel things to others that are crying out. Don't get it wrong, yes crime much be punished with time spent, but it should also allow those who are serving certain rights (esp. those who are model citizens while serving); and to also serve with some dignity.
My nephew has kept his nose clean, and was considered by most there at Pollock to be the "peacemaker." You see, the God that he, my family, and I serve can use even those in prison to be missionaries for Him.
I feel so for you. Let the truth be known, you didn't have to comment at all.

IS THIS PRISON NOT UNDER INVESTAGATION?? Like others i have seen...Someone may need to carry this to the Press..Something needs to be bought to the right person attention...All i say now is GOD BLESS YOURS AND MINE AND KEEP THEM SAFE;Cause it could be my BRO.,SON,or DAD 'you need to think about that.....Just keep praying and also for the ENEMY....GOD'' will handle them.

My husband is in USP Pollock as well and he is also a person that is a peacemaker. For the last year he has seen more Murders than many soldiers in Iraq! Men are being murdered more in there than in many U.S. cities! There are Gang wars & Race Wars & Just wars to be wars- constantly! And now they are relocating all the prisoners from Beaumont USP to Pollock. So the violence has increased in the last few days. Let's remember that the prison system was set up to REHABILTATE! There are some individuals that deserve a chance to re-enter society! Most of the Men that have been MURDERED in Pollock in the last year have been there on PAROLE VIOLATIONS! These men all had families that loved them & were waiting on them to come home. How do you think they felt when they got that call! How would you feel! Did they deserve to die? It's almost like Men in Pollock are sentenced to "undetermined death penalties" because anyday they can fall victom to there LOCATION! That's it! LOCATION! So the next time you say a convict gets what he deserves, remember a convict could be a person that has NEVER harmed a fly! There are crimes that are mistakes or can be corrected! I'm not going to start on the many "convicts" that are innocent- Even though I know that many individuals in jail have been railroaded! But we all see people being released after years of incarceration, that were never guilty! And I'm sure that Pollock is housing at least 1 person that should be free, what happens if he is the next person to be murdered? What will his family do?
Are we so cold hearted that we don't care about murder in our society anymore? Murder people, that's what's happening in Pollock, Murder! And that's apart of our society too, remember some of those MEN (who are lucky enough to keep themselves alive during their stay in Pollock USP), will be released. What kind of mental state will they be in--- if they make it!

I pray for my Husband all through the day & night! I hope that eventually the rest of the world will learn of the troubles within our system and fix them!

MY HUSBAND IS NOW AT BEAUMONT AND THEY ARE CURRENTLY ON LOCKDOWN. THEY STAY ON LOCKDOWN MOST OF THE TIME. HE HAS TOLD ME REPEATEDLY THEY HE HAS NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS PRISON. THERE IS SO MUCH VIOLENCE AND GANGS THERE AND THEY ARE DENIED SO MANY THINGS THAT ARE ALLOWED IN OTHER PRISONS. HE HAS ALSO BEEN TO POLLOCK AND HE NEVER WANTS TO GO BACK THERE.WHAT I CAN'T UNDESTAND, IS WHY THESE WARDENS CAN'T CONTROL THESE PRISONS. THERE ARE INMATES IN THERE WHO ARE JUST TRYING TO BE LEFT ALONE TO DO THEIR TIME AND DO THE BEST THEY CAN, BUT THEN YOU HAVE THOSE WHO JUST DO NOT CARE AND WILL STAB , KILL OR HURT SOMEONE IN A SPLIT SECOND. THE SAD PART IS MOST OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC JUST DOES NOT CARE. UNLESS YOU HAVE A LOVED ONE INCARCERATED YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW THE HELL THE MEN GO THROUGH. I AM NOT SAYING THEY SHOULD HAVE IT EASY, BY NO MEANS, BUT THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE TREATED LIKE ANIMALS. AND THERE ARE SOME GOOD INNOCENT MEN IN PRISON. OUR SYSTEM IS NOT FAILPROOF. THE JUSTICE SYSTEM IS VERY CROOKED, ESPECIALLY THE PRESECUTORS. THEY ARE APPOINTED BY FEDERAL JUDGES, SO THEY PRETTY MUCH CAN DO AS THEY PLEASE WITH NO REMORSE. IF THEY GET CAUGHT, IT IS JUST A SLAP ON THE WRIST. IN MY HUSBANDS CASE, INSTEAD OF PUNISHING THE PROSECUTOR AND THE LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT, INVOLVED IN HIS SETUP, GUESS WHAT. THEY WERE ALL WITHIN A FEW WEEKS , EITHER TRANSFERED TO ANOTHER STATE OR DEMOTED FOR A WHILE AND GRADUALLY TAKEN OUT OF THE SPOTLIGHT, YET HERE IS MY HUSBAND OF
40 YEARS SERVING LIFE IN PRISON BECAUSE HE WOULD NOT GO UNDERCOVER TO SET UP DRUG DEALERS FOR THE LOCAL POLICE. HE WAS A BAILSBONDMEN. HE MADE THE HEAD OF METRO MAD, SO HE RETALIATED AND WENT TO WORK WITH A SCHEME TO MAKE IT LOOK AS IF MY HUSBAND WAS THE BIGGEST DRUG DEALER IN THIS PARRISH. AND YOU KNOW WHAT, HE SUCEEDED, BECAUSE HIS BEST FRIEND WAS THE FEDERAL PROSECUTOR. I COULD GO ON AND ON, BUT WHAT FOR, IT IS USELESS. THERE ARE SO MANY MEN IN PRISON IN THIS DRUG WAR, WHO WERE SET UP AND THE JUSTICE SYSTEN DOES NOT CARE. WHY SHOULD THEY, THEY ARE GETTING RICH ON THE FACTORIES THEY OWN , USING OUR LOVE ONES TO TOIL ALL DAY FOR NOTHING, WHILE THEIR POCKETS GET FILTHY RICH.THEY KNOW ONCE A PERSON GETS INTO THE FEDERAL SYSTEM, IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN THE BATTLE FOR FREEDON. MY HUSBAND AND I RAISED THREE CHILDREM BEFORE ALL THIS HAPPENED. THEY ARE ALL COLLEGE GRADUATES NOW, SO AT LEAST THEY CAN'T TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME. I WISH THERE WERE TIME AND SPACE THAT I COULD TELL YOU ALL ABOUT THE STUNTS THEY PULLED , BUT I AM SURE A LOT OF YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW CROOKED THEY ARE AND HOW THEY ALL PROTECT EACH OTHER. I REALLY JUST WANT TO SAY, I HOPE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU WHO HAVE A LOVED ONE INCARCERATED KEEPS FIGHTING . IT IS THE ONLY WAY WE WILL EVER WIN.

ONE THING I FORGOT TO MENTION IN THE ABOVE POST. MY HUSBAND HAD OPEN HEART SURGERY SEVERAL YEARS BEFORE BEING INCARCERATED. HE HAD HIS AORTIC VALVE REPLACED AND HE HAS TO TAKE CUMIDEN EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE. WELL EVERY TIME HE GETS TRANSFERRED TO A NEW PRISON, THEY ALWAYS TRY NOT TO GIVE HIM IS MEDICATION. HE CANNOT GO WITHOUT IT FOR OVER THREE DAYS, BECAUSE HIS BLOOD WOULD CLOT AND NOT PASS THROUGH THE VALVE. EVERY TIME I EITHER HAVE TO CALL WARDEN OR WRITE A LETTER THREATENING TO SUE THE PRISON IF THEY DON'T GIVE IT TO HIM. IN LEWISBURG, HE HAD A FEMALE NURSE THERE TELL HIM, IF HE DIED THAT WAS NOT HER PROBLEM SHE COULD CARE LESS. I THINK THAT IS THE MAIN PROBLEM, THESE PEOPLE WHO WORK IN THESE PLACES DON'T GIVE A HOOT ABOUT THESE PEOPLE. WELL, THEY SHOULD LOOK FOR A JOB ELSEWHERE. THAT WAS JUST A CRUEL COMMENT TO MAKE. PEOPLE LIKE HER SHOULD BE FIRED. JUST PUT IT THIS WAY, AFTER A PHONE CALL TO REGIONAL OFFICE HE WAS GIVEN A THOROUGH EXAMINATION AND HIS MEDICATION WAS GIVEN ON A REGULAR BASIS AFTER THAT.HR SHOULD BE IN A MEDICAL FACILITY ANYWAY, BUT THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. THEY JUST DON'T CARE.

Tell your family members to stop robbing, stealing raping and committing crimes and they won't have to worry about going to the pen. How did they end up in a USP, must have done something pretty bad.

First of all my husband is an inmate in Pollack and hes a DAMN good man, who didn't deserve the sentence that he got. His ex set him up and rather that look at the history and character of each of them the judge ruled in her favor. 5 years later she has killed a man an tried to get away with it. Justice isn't always just or fair, and to all the negative people with the hateful comments-Who Are You To Judge? It could very easily happen to you or someone you love. If a person is guilty then justice was served, but if a innocent man is wrongly tried and convicted theres no justice and that time can't be made up for or given back. NOT EVERYONE IN PRISON IS INNOCENT, and the facts have to be faced bad things happen to good people!

i have a brother who has been to prison before when he was 17 years old and he did 7 years in a georgia correctional facility well in september he was arrested on a felon in posestion of a fire arm and was setenced to 37 months he has notbeen sent to his destination as of yet still sittig in oaklahoma waiting to be sent to USP polluck im not sure why they are sending him there but they are that is a short sentence and not really a harsh crime im wondering are they trying to have him killed because they wonted him to be a snitch for what ever reason and he didnt seems strange to me and i worry about him every day and i pray constantly not only for my brother but for everyone who is in this predicament. and to the person who dont have a heart you eed to get a life because one day it migbe you or somebody very close to you. be careful what you say to others cause the lord god will let you go through the same hing we all are going through. instead of voicing your smart remarks go down on your knees and pray fo these men in USP polluck because from what i here its not a facilty you would wont your love ones to be.

I am so sick of parents and friends of convicts saying my sons rights are being violated. If the guy had obeyed the law in the first place he would not be where he is today. Then apparently he could not follow jail rules so they sent him to a higher level. Lets be real they don't just go and send people to higher levels because they want to , your son is not that important. You sound like inmates who say the government set me up. Lucky you 300,000,000 people in the US and the Government took the time to single you out. I'd play lotto with that kind of luck.

Your full of crap . The BOP had 12 murders thats right 12 year. Its right on there web site. So get a life and don't ever compare what your beloved convict has seen compared to a soldier in Iraq.

You know why Wardens can't control these prisons. Its because The bureau of prisons is 9000 staff short thats 9000 short as compared to 1998 and its getting worse not better. ( the 9000 figure comes from the Director Harley Lappin in his March 12 testimony to congress) So lets get these people the help they need and maybe things won't be as bad for them or the inmates.
