After all the bully behavior coming from the county judge office, I'll never spend a dime in Pineville that goes to that restaurant tax. Better selection in Middlesboro anyway. Sure hope Pineville likes paying off those bonds with their own tax money. Longs might have to chip in a little extra to cover the shortfall. If Pineville defaults, they couldn't borrow a cup of sugar. Guess nobody told them that part. Maybe Brock will split the Fire Tax with them. LOL

There is a lot of things people haven't been told about this deal!!!! Kept in the dark and covered up with crap. That's the way our politicians treat the public!

When is Albey gonna do something with that eyesore? Maybe they can pass a tax for that, too. Yeah, a five-star hotel, go around a curve and boom. At least tear down that old building. Looks worse than Ward Chapel.

You people are idiots at the BCVFD board. Anything you can do to ruin a good persons name. Why do you not support our community? All you do is take money in years past and waste it or put it in your pockets. The sooner the BCVFD is closed the better. lol

Stopping the fire TAX is even better. We're tired of supporting a service the county is NOT providing. Now you want more money for schools? Whose pocket will that go in? LOL

What hotel? Just last week they were fixing the roof on the building they were supposed to be tearing down in order to build the new hotel.

Exactly! Albey isn't going to do anything for this community! Just for himself. If he were going to do anything, he'd already done it, but it's hard to get things done when you only "work" til noon. Is anyone gonna run against him this election? It needs to be someone besides his cousin, and someone who knows how to do the job correctly, doesn't carry a chip on their shoulder, and doesn't care about PR more than doing the right thing.

Ever notice how all that Albey's cronies have to come back with is blaming the members of the BCVFD when it gets too hot in here for them? Like I said in the other forum, you couldn't pay me enough to fight a fire, let alone do it for FREE. Guess it makes more sense to close all the Volunteer stations and open some where your buddies get paid with full benefits (and let me add Albey having more control). I sure hope we can access a magic well with buckets or something during this "transition time" if I ever need help again. Oh, and like in the other forum how we are some Jackson guy? LOL! Guess us pee on's [that see right through you, your cronies, and your lies and belittling] are becoming a bigger nuisance, aren't we? Go dig in the taxpaying well and work around another solution so we will be silent. Well, us pee on's see right through the crap and we are fed up and will not be silent. You may have the majority now because of all the favors you've done, Albey, but the citizens are opening their eyes and are tired of you using our money for your benefit instead of ours. Albey is the problem, and never comes up with any solutions that he carries through with. Does anyone see anything booming in this town? Or does it really scare you that bad for something new and nice to come to this area? Or is it that it would be too much for you to control if Pineville expanded? He is just like Obama, he says one thing, does another, creates a mess, and wants more time to fix the problems, and blames the problems on someone else instead of taking responsibility and creating and maintaining solutions.

Maybe the governor will give us some tax money to build that hotel. Those ATV riders need a place to stay so we could build a couple shacks up at Nowhere. We got 20 million in that place already so what's a few more. Get some of those storage barns, put a neon sign out front, and there you go.

We just need to decide what to name it. Anybody have ideas on what to call our fabulous new hotel? No, I don't think "Complete Waste Of Money" would look good in neon. Pretty accurate though. Hey, let's have a contest and let the public pick the name.

Gambling Casino at the bridge to nowhere would be perfect.
