Get out now if you have got a notice. That means that you already are 2 months behind. Your landlord has to pay his bills too. Stop trying to use the system to take advantage.

We kicked people out in the past. The Sheriff put their junk in the alley. That was that.

Man people are mean! Did you ever think of how a person must feel after getting a eviction I am sorry but not everyone has money to pay there bills not because there lazy but maybe because there is no jobs,no education .etc no one is taking advantage even if you do get help from these government funded programs they don't give you alot of money maybe like 500.00 a month. If you have never been in this situation then please don't judge.

Most evictions are not due to non pay of rent. Most are because tenants do not want to follow the rules set forth by the individual housing systems. Partying, loud music, disturbances and unauthorized residents are ususally the reason most evictions are issued.

Dont judge? what do you think we dont have bills to pay mouths to feed, the government doesnt care if we cant pay taxes on the rental. We arent running a safe haven. People take advantage. My tenants moved in in jan and are already 3 months behind- they have been there months, its not only the money they have warning violations-cops have been called. I have given them all the breaks i can, the elderly community that surrounds then doesnt have to put up with their drama and neither do i.

Eviction notice is just preliminary. There are many factors in an eviction, especially if you have children or elderly living in the home. If there are any of these circumstances call an attorney, if you can't afford one call legal aid. You have much longer under certain conditions.

OK, this is Free info, so listen up, lol .First, you have 30 days from when the eviction is served. When the 30 days are up and you are not out, the owner of the property, or the landlord goes and gets a notice of eviction court summons.(usely takes about 2 weeks for the court date) then the judges desides when the final date to get out will be, and issues a Writ Of Possession and sends it to the Sheriff.

It's like this, getting evicted isn't a good thing nor is it funny, what is funny is hard as it is finding a decent place to live & call home anybody would jeopardize losing it for silly reasons, like somebody already posted, a person gets evicted for good reasons, most of time being a nuisance to other people, drugs/alcohol, allowing people that's not on lease to live there, animals,ETC! Get to packing, find another place, sooner you do that sooner you can move on, learn from the eviction, let it be a positive thing. I know it's easier said than done but it is what it is period.

What if the renter has abandoned the home and left all belongings, ignored numerous attempts to contact them and the electricity had been shut off. Does this change the rules of eviction?

Ok i live in southern mississippi. I moved in a house where the landlord had a lot of stuff including a whole room set up for a elder lady. I called n asked her if she knew the stuff was there and she said yes that we could use it or throw it to the side. Also there was 5 acres of land we were to maintain. This property included a shed were she had completely set up with tools and also over grown gardens which she wanted me to restore. A week went by and my husband went out back and built our dog a pen out of old wood that qas in a pile out back and a couple days went by and she called mad bc her cousin told her we were using her tools to build stuff " whivh was never mentioned to be off limits" she then called and was highly pissed and told me to put it all back which i did at eleven at night. The next morning she called and cussed me out and said im a liar and didnt put it back. So i ignored this bc im not one to argue i have theee children and a very demanding job. She then shows up four days later and basically tells me i am bringing the comminty value down by building a dog pen :/ " the neighbors have electric fences and three huge german shepherds" and wants my little puppy gone bc he could hurt someone. Told her i would try n find someone to take her but she wanted her gone now instead. She is also mad bc i used her tools to restore her garden and i moved the old ladys stuff to different room. She then cusses me in front of my children and evicts me on the 17 th verbally and wants me out by the end of month. I signed A year lease also. What can i do???? Need more time to find a place!!!! Help!!!'nn
