ATV riding can be dangerous and fun. I have been riding for 10 plus years. I find that some areas are more prone to speed and some areas are just plain too steep. However, there is one item that makes the sport safe or dangerous. That item is the human brain. All of us make choices in life. We chose to get married. We make a decision to live here or there. We decide to buy a sports car or a station wagon.
So, when it comes to ATVís we make our own choice. The last time I checked no one has even told me what I had to buy at the local ATV dealership. They offer me choices and I chose what I desire.
The same principle applies to riding the ATV. I chose where I go and when I go. I can go here or there. I even make the decision on when I go. Yes, I can chose not to attend this event or that event.
Lastly, my decisions are mine alone. I can not blame this group or that group for what I decided to do. Think of it this way: If you decide to attend a wedding and get married do you have a case against the folks who attend this event with you. I mean, if the marriage does not work out. No, it was your own decision.

For some reason, some people just don't understand that concept. You explained it pretty well but they still don't get it.
