to all suroundings counties of bell, harlan, leslie, clay all involved in riding atv's... they are taking our freedom from all of us and we need to fight back with petitions and meetings and show them we need to be able to ride and camp so forth.i'm for the elk being there and have always respected them and they are gonna try to take our freedom from riding because of elk and the wildlife foundation.
people says they're gonna gut shoot them, but thats not the answer.we need law officals to come in here and help us give our rights back. if you have private property and a zone that can be hunted with elk ,please start posting private property signs with no elk hunting ,by law and the hunting guide you are legal to do so.lets show them they can't hunt on our properties if we cant ride atv's..eventually they will start losing money to all hunters.i have nothing against hunters by no means but we need to be able to ride atv's also. the hunters that come from abroad are being decieved that they can hunt anywhere on our properties,so lets get the word out and signs posted ok.. it takes all of us to do this.i love riding.there will be a meeting coming soon and we will get the word out when it's gonna happen and where .please come and support us all in this matter..

just what rights do you think you have???...do you have the right to trespass on other peoples property without permission??...is it ok to just do whatever you want where you want???....maybe we should all just go to wal-mart and take whatever we want and not pay for it.....by your method of thinking that would be acceptable....

whether or not the land is posted makes no difference....ky law says that to ride an atv on property that YOU DO NOT OWN....you must have permission.....since that property is NOT yours you are trespassing....and property that is public like a wildlife management thing....4-wheelers are not allowed to be the at all......you can find all this in ky law.....

Well, riding on those strips in Stoney Fork isn't hurting anyone, people are just trying to make it where there isn't anything to do for our young people except go to bars! I love riding 4 wheelers also and looking at the wildlife on the way...

I think right now its okay to ride Mary's Branch. Your not allowed to ride above straight creek mining and some of big run because it is a wildlife preserve. The Begley's dont want the Elk disturbed I suppose. A few weeks ago we road on Mary's branch and saw many other riders out. I could be wrong, I think its ok to ride in Mary's Branch.
