Has anyone else noticed the number of private driveways being paved by the county? There are several along highway 190. If anyone else know of any private drives being paved please list them here. I plan to collect evidence and take it to the fiscal court and demand an explanation!!!

According to section 171 of the Kentucky constitution, it is illegal to use public funds on private property. The only way to end the corruption in this county is to speak up about it.

Don't know where you get your info, but the county doesn't pave private drives.

Anyone with a car can drive around and see private driveways that are paved with taxpayer funds! They even clear brush on private land, too. On hwy 92, a guy don't even have homes on the land yet and Albey had it cleared, grated, and graveled. Ever notice all the "roads" being voted in to the county? If you're the right person, your "road" can get paved, too. Yet, we never seem to have the money to fix the roads that already need it, yet it makes sense to vote in and pave others. Hmmm....

Like I said, get in your car and drive around and you will see it for yourself. And no, it won't be in the paper since they are in Albey's pocket, too. You can call me a liar all you want, but it doesn't change facts. You are not the only one who will see this or already has. Telling me to shut up like a child will not cover it up. Also, while you're out on your Sunday drive, check out Page Cuttoff. There are three driveways that were paved with tax dollars there, and yet there is no money for guardrails. Go figure!

Are these some of those "accepted road" places? I thought it took at least to families to qualify.

LOL, there isn't any junk in my yard. Besides, I know the difference between a yard, a driveway, and a road is all confusing for you, so that's why we need other people working for the county.

We have many more than two homes on this road, and yet after many years of waiting it still hasn't been fixed, even though our neighbor got his "road" (driveway) paved and there is only two homes on that "road.". Also, the county was cleaning up brush on their property a week ago, as well as another yard I witnessed just three days ago. I also continue to see all these "roads" getting voted in and paved with two or three homes on them, yet for all these homes on this road, they can't seem to find the funding for it and others who need it badly. I feel like an outside news source should be contacted along with the attorney general with the facts about Albey and the way he is abusing his power and not being concerned with all the citizens needs.

What's the name of your road? What's the name of the road that got paved next to yours? Details please so the somebody can maybe look into it for you, or is it all a lie?

When we asked about getting our driveway paved we were told that we would have to sign that roadway over to the county in order for them to be able to keep it up. Meaning that it would no longer be a private drive! So if any one wants to come and just park up in your driveway there is nothing you can do about it. I live in the 92 area and many of my neighbors did sign there driveway over to the county and indeed got them paved. So if you are willing to sign it over then they will pave yours as well. As for me I declined!!!
